摘要： A temperature history indicator includes a region 6 with a hydrophobic organic compound enclosed in microcapsules. If the temperature rises higher than a certain value, the compound melts and diffuses, causing a dye-precursor and a color developer to contact each other to irreversibly achieve color development. This color development system 7 is rendered operative when the high temperature rise continues for a predetermined time period. The top of the color development system is coated with a transparent material 11 with a bonding agent 8 arranged so as neither to break those chemical compositions which cause the color development nor to lower their color developing function.

摘要： Disclosed is a pressure sensitive recording unit which comprises a single base web sheet and a methine-type dyestuff and an organic oxidizing compound both supported on the single base web sheet, or a combination of first and second base web sheets and the methine-type dyestuff and organic oxidizing compound supported individually on the first and second base web sheets. 摘要： The water-base coating formulation comprises as essential components (a) microcapsules which have a synthetic resin as a wall-forming material and (b) a reaction product obtained by polymerizing at least one water-soluble vinyl monomer (B) in the presence of a high polymer latex (A) having a glass transition point of 60°C or lower. The latex (A) and vinyl monomer (B) are used at a solid weight ratio of 3:97 - 90:10. The coating formulation can provide a microcapsule-coated layer having significantly-improved pressure resistance and frictional stability without need for a stilt, and can be applied successfully at a high speed. The coating formulation can form the basis of carbonless copying and/or recording paper for instance of self-contained character incorporating both a dye precursor and a color developer.
