The invention concerns a piston pump (10) to be used for example in a vehicle antiskid hydraulic brake system. The aim of the invention is to enable economical production of said pump (10). To this end, a packing (16) is produced in a single piece with a base (18) having a seat valve (22) for the piston pump (10) outlet valve (50), said packing being produced in the form of a cold headed piece, without undercut. Moreover, the assembly is simplified since a tight fit is provided for the closure cap (66) and its stop at the packing (16). The fluid under pressure leaves the pump via circulating channels (70) provided therefor in the closure cap.

According to the invention, an outlet duct (90, 94, 96) formed as a groove in the base of the cylinder (64) and a closing component (68) are configured in order to simplify and reduce the cost of production. This enables the cylinder sleeve (26) and the closing component (68) to be produced without cutting by reshaping. One advantage of mounting the outlet duct (90) in the base of the cylinder (64) is that it is arranged in an axial direction close to the seat (84) of an outlet valve (82) thus counteracting the production of noise.

The invention concerns a piston pump (10) for a vehicle antiskid hydraulic brake system. The invention aims at the economical production of said pump piston (20, 22). To this end, the piston is produced from a part obtained by forming (20) and a closure plug (22) driven in by a pin (42) into said part (20). The advantage of the invention lies in the fact that the piston (20, 22) can be produced without elimination of material, therefore quickly and economically, in the form of a piece obtained for example by extrusion.
