    摘要: Provided is a casing for electronic equipment providing both impact resistance and flame retardance and further providing excellent low warpage. The casing for electronic equipment is constructed from a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition containing a polybutylene terephthalate resin (A), a modified polyethylene terephthalate resin (B), a halogen-free flame retardant (C), and an epoxy group-containing ethylene copolymer (D); the Charpy impact value measured in accordance with ISO-179 in this polybutylene terephthalate resin composition is 10 kJ/m 2 or higher; and this polybutylene terephthalate resin composition produces a casing for electronic equipment that meets the 5VA standard in a thickness of 2 mm by a test method that accords with the UL 94 standard.

    摘要: Provided is a means for obtaining a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition that exhibits excellent hydrolysis resistance and high fluidity in a molten state. A carbodiimide compound (B) and a polyhydric hydroxyl group-containing compound (C) are added to a polybutylene terephthalate resin (A) having a terminal carboxyl group content of 30 meq/kg or lower. The polyhydric hydroxyl group-containing compound (C) that is used has a hydroxyl group value of 200 or higher. It is preferable for the polybutylene terephthalate resin (A) to have an intrinsic viscosity of 0.6 dL/g or higher.

A polybutylene terephthalate resin composition is used which comprises a polybutylene terephthalate resin produced by direct esterification, and an alkali compound, in which an amount of a VOC emitted from a molded article formed by molding the polybutylene terephthalate resin composition is 50 µgC/g or less when measured by a VOC measuring method defined in the German Association of the Automotive Industry VDA 277.

    摘要: Provided is a resin molded body which has excellent flame retardance, weather resistance, shock resistance and tracking resistance. The resin molded body is composed of a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin, a polycarbonate, an elastomer, and a flame retardant. By adopting this combination of components, a Charpy impact value at 23°C measured in conformity with ISO 179/1eA is 15 kJ/m2 or more and flame retardance measured under a condition of thickness of 1.0 mm and in conformity with UL94 is V-0 or more, and a resin molded body which can be used favorably outdoors is produced.
