摘要: There is provided provision of timing information of a first timing information source using timing information of a second timing information source to a wireless device. A network node determines that second timing information from the second timing information source is available and that timing information from the first timing information source is derivable from the second timing information. The network node instructs the wireless device to use the second timing information as a source for deriving first timing information of the first timing information source.

摘要: A fifth-generation wireless communications network includes a server node, radio network equipment and a wireless device. In an example method, a server node receives first user data in response to (i) the wireless device receiving from the radio network equipment information indicating a plurality of uplink access configurations, each uplink access configuration including a random access configuration; (ii) the wireless device receiving an uplink access configuration index; (iii) the wireless device using the uplink access configuration index to identify an uplink access configuration from among the indicated plurality of uplink access configurations, and (iv) the wireless device transmitting the first user data to the wireless communications network according to the identified uplink access configuration. In the example method, further, the server node initiates transmission of second and third user data. This causes the wireless device to (v) receive from the radio network equipment, in a first downlink subframe, a first OFDM transmission formatted according to a first numerology and carrying the second user data, and (vi) receive from the radio network equipment, in a second downlink subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology and carrying the third user data, wherein the numerologies have different subcarrier spacings.

摘要: Methods and systems for partial retransmission are provided. According to one aspect, a method for receiving, at a receiver, a partial retransmission from a sender, comprises: receiving a control information message indicating a second transmission to be received, the second transmission comprising retransmitted data, the retransmitted data comprising a retransmission of a portion of a first transmission; receiving the second transmission; determining, based on a mapping indicator, a location of the retransmitted data within the second transmission; and decoding the retransmitted data at the determined location within the second transmission. The mapping indicator may be received as part of the control information message or may be received separately from the control information message. In one embodiment, the combination of the control information and the mapping indicator indicates what portions of the first transmission are being retransmitted and where they are located within the second transmission.
