    摘要: A rotary mechanism for incrementally advancing a first circular bearing member 13 with respect to a second circular bearing member 12 comprises a unidirectional clutch 41 and a rotary actuator 21, 33, 39. Actuation of the actuator 21, 33, 39 is against a resilient bias 34, and overcomes friction between the first circular bearing member 13 and the second circular bearing member 12 to advance the first circular bearing member 13 with the unidirectional clutch 41 locked. Release of the actuator 21, 33, 39 allows resetting thereof by the resilient bias 34, the friction between the first circular bearing member 13 and the second circular bearing member 12 resisting further relative movement.

The applied pressure from said conductive element may be responsive to the temperature of the plate. For example, the brush may be operable to move to an active, rubbing position from a non-rubbing position under predetermined temperature conditions. Similar brushes can be incorporated into bearing assemblies for clutches and brakes.

A permanent magnet is housed in a cylinder at one end of the linear machine. An output member from the machine extends through the cylinder and is coupled to the actuator rod. Magnetic material is carried on the section of output member within the cylinder. Movement of the output member influences a magnetic circuit between the magnetic material and the permanent magnet material, to provide a non-powered contribution to movement of the output member, thereby reducing the load required to move the actuator rod.
