This arrangement can almost completely prevent a direct application of a weight of the seat occupant to the two three-dimensional network cushion elements. Therefore, the present invention has the effect that a permanent downward settling of the seat cushion SC can be prevented, so that a short life of the seat 1 due to such permanent settling may be substantially avoided.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer luftdurchlässigen Verbundstoffbahn aus einer Schaumkunststoffbahn, die mit Maschenwarebahnen flamm- oder klebekaschiert wird. Solche Verbundstoffbahnen sind beispielsweise aus der EP 1 859 929 A1 bekannt, doch ist deren Anpassung an vorgegebene Formen und das Einbringen von Mustern vergleichsweise aufwendig. Somit ist es Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ein Verfahren anzugeben, mit dem kostengünstig die Herstellung von Verbundstoffbahnen möglich ist, die leicht an vorgegebene Formen angepasst werden können, in die einfach Muster eingebracht werden können und die bei sehr guter Luftdurchlässigkeit hohen Komfort bieten. Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch Bereitstellen einer Schaumkunststoffbahn, wobei die Schaumkunststoffbahn strukturiert ist und mehrere Stellen und/oder Bereiche mit einer ersten Dicke 2a zwischen 1 mm und 10 mm und mehrere Stellen oder Bereiche mit einer zweiten Dicke 3a aufweist, wobei die zweite Dicke 3a größer ist als die erste Dicke 2a, Zusammenpressen der Schaumkunststoffbahn, vollflächiges oder großflächiges Anschmelzen der Schaumkunststoffbahn oder Aufbringen einer Klebesubstanz in zumindest nicht vollständig relaxiertem Zustand und Aufbringen der Maschenwarebahn(en) zumindest auf die angeschmolzene bzw. mit Klebesubstanz versehenen Bereiche.
