摘要: Methods and apparatus to remove gas and vapor from a panel for a decorative layer are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first press plate of a hot press to engage a first surface of a panel. The hot press is to apply heat to the panel via the first press plate to cure resin of the panel. A first portion of the first press plate is composed of a permeable material to remove at least one of gas or vapor from the panel to deter the at least one of gas or vapor from exerting a pressure on a decorative layer to be coupled to the panel to deter separation of a portion of the decorative layer from the panel. 摘要: A heating tape comprises an insulated heating element that includes a heating element layer comprising a polymer composite having conductive particles and at least one set of conductive electrodes at least partially embedded in the polymer composite and extending along at least a substantial portion of the length of the heating tape. A heating tape system for a pipe or other surface, further includes a power ramp controller having a solid state relay component to regulate an in-rush of current to the heating element. The heating tape system also includes a connector having multiple contact points.

A two-step manufacturing process for forming such a multilayer material is disclosed, which consists of (1) thermal bonding of a roll stock of PE foam with a roll stock of HDPE/LDPE laminate, followed by cutting into composites, and (2) thermal bonding of two composites to form a multilayer material.

摘要: A process is proposed for production of composite elements (12) having at least one outer layer (14) and an isocyanate-based rigid foam (16). The outer layer (14) is moved continuously, and liquid starting material for the isocyanate-based rigid foam (16) is applied to the outer layer (14). The liquid starting material for the isocyanate-based rigid foam (16) is applied by means of at least one fixed tube (18) provided with openings (20). The liquid starting material comprises at least one compound that reacts with isocyanate groups to form urethane, and a polyisocyanate and a blowing agent. The blowing agent has a boiling point of +15°C to +250°C at atmospheric pressure. The compound that reacts with isocyanate groups to form urethane or the polyisocyanate is laden with at least one fluid having a boiling point lower than +15°C at atmospheric pressure under a pressure above atmospheric pressure.

摘要: The roll includes an air and water barrier article, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the first major surface of the barrier article, first and second coating compositions disposed on the opposing second major surface of the barrier article, and a liner having a first major surface in contact with the first coating composition and the second coating composition. The first coating composition has a first peel adhesion to the first major surface of the liner that is lower than a second peel adhesion of the second coating composition to the first major surface of the liner. The pressure sensitive adhesive contacts a second major surface of the liner when wound in the roll, and a peel adhesion between the second major surface of the liner and the pressure sensitive adhesive is less than or equal to the second peel adhesion. There are also provided methods of applying barrier articles, films made using these barrier articles, and building envelopes made using such films.

摘要: Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines flächigen Verbundbauteils mit einer zwischen zwei Deckschichten (A, A') angeordneten und stoffschlüssig damit verbundenen Kernschicht (B), wobei mindestens eine Deckschicht (A) einen Deckschicht-Thermoplasten enthält und wobei die Kernschicht (B) einen Kernschicht-Thermoplasten enthält, umfasst die folgenden Schritte:
a) es wird ein aufgeheizter Stapel der Schichtenfolge A-B-A' bereitgestellt;
b) der aufgeheizte Stapel (A-B-A') wird verpresst;
c) der verpresste Stapel wird abgekühlt, wobei das flächige Verbundbauteil mit konsolidierten und stoffschlüssig miteinander verbundenen Schichten gebildet wird.
Zur Erweiterung des Anwendungsbereiches einschliesslich der Herstellung von flächigen 3D-Bauteilen wird vorgeschlgen, dass
- mindestens eine der Deckschichten (A, A') in unkonsolidierter Form eine Faservliesschicht aus 10 bis 100 Gew.% Thermoplastfasern des Deckschicht-Thermoplasten und 0 bis 90 Gew.% Verstärkungsfasern mit einem Flächengewicht von 300 bis 3'000 g/m 2 umfasst;
- die Kernschicht (B) in unkonsolidierter Form mindestens eine aus Verstärkungsfasern und Thermoplastfasern des Kernschicht-Thermoplasten gebildete Wirrfaservliesschicht (D) umfasst,
und dass
- nach dem Verpressen die konsolidierte(n) Deckschicht(en) einen Luftporengehalt-
