摘要:
An air conditioner having a service valve assembly (100) which comprises a connection body (140) connected with a refrigerant pipe through which a refrigerant flows, and having a penetration passage through which the refrigerant flows; an opening/closing unit (150) disposed in the connection body (140), and having a blocking hole (151) for opening/closing the passage of the refrigerant flowing through the penetration passage (141); a plurality of ports disposed at the connection body (140), respectively, by a particular interval therebetween, connected with the penetration passage (141), and having an opened end portion, respectively; and a filter unit (290) removably coupled to each end portion of the ports such that the refrigerant flowing through the penetration passage is bypassed to the ports to thus be filtered thereby, whereby it is possible to basically solve the problem in a blocking caused by moisture and foreign materials within a circulation system of the air conditioner, and to simplify the construction of the system by being provided with a filter and a drier which are removable.

A refrigerant bypassing and filtering apparatus of an air conditioner is disclosed which is capable of effectively removing foreign matter such as slag produced in a refrigerant line, not only when the air conditioner is initially operated, but also during normal operation of the air conditioner. The apparatus includes at least one bypass line (150) adapted to guide a refrigerant to bypass a main line (120) through which the refrigerant flows between an outdoor unit (110) and an indoor unit (130), a strainer (160) arranged at the bypass line (150), a first valve (122) arranged at the main line (120) between opposite ands of the bypass line (150) connected to the main line (120), and second valves (152) arranged at the bypass line (150).

In a receiver drier R for an automotive air-conditioning system charge D of desiccant material is placed in the receiver drier casing 2 adjacent to a port-free end part 1 outside of the direct refrigerant flow path. The charge D is secured in place by a first strainer 4 constituting a separation between the charge D and a refrigerant flow deflection chamber C inside the casing 2.
