    摘要： A HVAC curtain valve (20) that can operate at very low torque and can be assembled easily is provided. The valve (20) has an inlet (23), an outlet (25), and a curtain closure (40). The curtain closure (40) adjustably controls fluid flow through the outlet (25) and includes a diaphragm (40) held in an insert (30). The insert (30) has a dimension larger than a mating surface on the valve body (22) so that it can be secured without fasteners. The valve (20) can employ a radially and axially moveable shoe (350) to assure tight close off.

    摘要： A vent valve for ase in controlling discharge of fuel vapor from a fuel tank. The vent valve includes a housing for attachment to the fuel tank includes a wall defining a cavity therein. The float is contained in the cavity of the housing and is responsive to the level of liquid in the fuel tank. The level in the fuel tank rises, the float rises within the housing. When the level of liquid in the fuel tank drops, the float moves downwardly in the housing. A passage is provided in the housing which communicates with an external portion of the tank. The vent valve includes at least one vent positioned proximate to and communicating with the passage for providing venting passage of vapor therethrough and to the passage. The vent valve includes a vent assembly having a flexible diaphragm which is displaceably positioned proximate to the passage to control the flow of vapor through the vent and through the passage. The diaphragm is attached to the float making it responsive to the rise and fall of liquid level in the tank. The diaphragm is generally concentrically peeled from a position overlying at least the vent or progressively opening and closing the vent.

In the type of spring for opening/closing and controlling the flow path for a fluid, a leaf spring valve is provided which has one end of a spiral spring 47 mounted in a valve chamber 42 of a valve box 41 and the other end thereof mounted on a valve shaft 52 in the valve chamber 42, and the lateral surface of the spiral spring 47 opposed in a pressed state to a valve seat 42a of the valve box 41, whereby the lateral surface of the spiral spring 47 is separated from the valve seat 42a till a flow path outlet 44 on the secondary side is opened by rotating the valve shaft 52 by means of an actuator 55 thereby displacing the spiral spring 47 centripetally toward the valve shaft 52.

    摘要： The present invention relates to an arrangement for controlling fluid flow through an aperture. In one embodiment, the flow control arrangement, which may be used in association with a window to control the flow of ventilating air, comprises a strip brush composed of an array of resilient filaments firmly mounted at their root region. The free end region of the filaments define, with a fixed flange, the effective area or width of an aperture for the passage of ventilating air. Variations in the strength of the air flow incident to the array of filaments causes changes in the degree of deflection of the filaments, thus altering the effective width of the aperture and controlling the air flow through the aperture.
