摘要： A valve includes a film (22) having side edges and an opening (24) to extend across a passage (54) in a housing (20) of a HVAC system. The film (22) has a circular aperture (28) in the film (22) adjacent each rounded corner of each opening (24) for relieving stress. Either or both of the leading edge and the trailing edge of the film (22) are undulated (32) to prevent deformation of the edges. A pair of the racks (34) is disposed on the film (22) and sprockets (38) engage the teeth (36) of the racks (34) for moving the racks (34) and the film (22) linearly. Each rack (34) includes a strap (44) and a bearing member (46) for retaining the associated sprocket (38) in engagement with the teeth (36). The bearing member (46) is in rolling engagement with a bearing surface (48) of the associated strap (44) as it rotates with the sprockets (38).

Gemäß einem weiteren Aspekt ist der Ventilkörper (6) beweglich an seinem Sitz (4) am Ventilabgang (3) angeordnet, so dass er im Bereich des Ventilkörpersitzes (4) einen Durchlass freigeben und schließen kann.

The valve includes a chamber (6) for containing fluid, defined by a flexible barrier (2) trapped between first (3) and second (4) surfaces. A fluid inlet provides fluid to the interior of the chamber. A fluid outlet selectively allows fluid to pass out of the chamber. Movement of the first (3) and second (4) surfaces relative to each other causes change in contact between the flexible barrier and the first and second surfaces to selectively open the fluid outlet, in a first position, and occlude it between the flexible barrier and one of the surfaces, in a second position.

The curtain closure (40) adjustably controls fluid flow through the outlet (25) and includes a diaphragm (40) held in an insert (30). The insert (30) has a dimension larger than a mating surface on the valve body (22) so that it can be secured without fasteners. The valve (20) can employ a radially and axially moveable shoe (350) to assure tight close off.
