A reinforced-plastic inter­mediate product is used as the joining compound (12, 13), and sections (11a, 11b) of the form (10) are pressed, in a manner known per se, around the sections (14, 15) surrounded by the reinforced­plastic intermediate product and to be joined to each other for achieving the joint (16). The inven­tion also relates to a joint between sections 14, 15) to be joined to each other and surrounded by a joining compound, in which joint the joining com­pound is a reinforced-plastic intermediate product.

    摘要： The invention relates to a joint between a tube and a rod or another tube being at an angle to the former tube. This joint being provided with a ring arranged around said rod or other tube and fastened thereto and being split at least at one place, the two ends of said ring bounding said or a gap going over each in a limb which is parallel to the other limb as well as to a plane going through the longitudinal axis of the rod or other tube and which together with the other limb forms a plug extending in the former tube and with at least one screw bolt screwed into a tapped hole of the connecting element formed by the ring and the limbs and adapted to be tightened and untightened from the outside for fixing the plug in the former tube as well as for fastening the ring to the rod or other tube and is characterized in that the ring is uni- or multi-part clamping tape of sheet material in that one of the two limbs of the or each plug has the tapped hole for the bolt and the other limb of the plug concerned and the wall of the first-mentioned tube have, at a place directly adjacent the other limb, a hole passing at least a wrench for turning the bolt about its longitudinal axis, in that the tapped hole and the two further holes are coaxial and have their axes of revolution directed transversely of a plane going through the longitudinal axis of the first-mentioned tube and that of the rod or other tube and in that the wall of the first-mentioned tube forms a stop for the insertion end of the bolt. The invention relates also to a supporting bracket thereto and is characterized in that said bracket consists of a strip having a part with a form bended at least half-circular fitting around a tube of the carrying construction and a limb being and directed adjacent, radially outward and in that the bended part has, at a place diametrically opposite the limb, a radially inwardly directed bulging part or a lug fitting in a hole of said tube or in a socket hole in the head of the screw bolt of the joint concerned.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for securing fittings (12) to composite structures (10) such as those composites formed out of resin-embedded fibers is disclosed. The invention includes the use of support structures (23) wrapped around the fittings such that the support prevents the fitting from movement when a compression load is applied thereto. The support serves to transfer the force of the compression load into the entire body of the composite structure so that the force will be absorbed by the structure. In one embodiment of the invention, the support structure comprises a composite fiber tow (23) formed of high tensile strength fibers impregnated with a matrix material. The composite fiber tow is formed from fibers (27) wrapped around the fittings to form suspension stands. As the matrix material cures the composite fiber stiffens to hold the fitting in place against the composite structure.

When the pipe material used in PVC, ABS, or any other plastic with similar characteristics of resiliency and bondability, the diametrical contour at the end of said second pipe (4) is formed having a diameter which is slightly smaller than that of the first pipe.
