摘要: To provide a blood purification apparatus employing a single-needle double-pump method and being capable of automatically discharging a priming solution that has undergone substitution from a blood circuit during blood removal. A blood purification apparatus includes a blood circuit 1 to which an only puncture needle 3 is connectable, a dialyzer 2 that purifies blood flowing in the blood circuit 1, a first blood pump 5, a second blood pump 6, and a control device 17 that allows the blood of a patient to be extracorporeally circulated through the blood circuit 1 by causing the first blood pump 5 and the second blood pump 6 to alternately undergo normal rotation. During blood removal, the control device 17 operates to substitute a priming solution in the blood circuit 1 with the blood of the patient and to discharge the priming solution having undergone the substitution from the blood circuit 1 by causing the first blood pump 5 to undergo normal rotation and the second blood pump 6 to undergo reverse rotation.

摘要: The invention relates to a device and a method for blood treatment in a single-needle operating mode. The blood treatment device has an extracorporeal blood circuit (1) comprising a blood supply line (8) leading to the inlet of a blood treatment unit (2) and a blood return line (8) leading away from the outlet of the blood treatment unit. Blood collecting means, for example a blood collecting container, are provided in the blood return line, said means being connected to means (18) for storing gas, for example an air reservoir, by a flow line. The flow connection comprises two line branches, one branch being used to transfer gas from the air reservoir into the blood collecting container and the other branch being used to transfer gas from the blood collecting container into the air reservoir. The connection branch for transferring gas from the air store into the blood collecting container contains means (20) for compressing air, for example a compressor. The device according to the invention is operated in such a way that the filling level of the means for collecting blood can be determined as precisely as possible.

The at least one blood flow parameter is determined based on a difference between (i) a first amount of fresh blood treatment fluid received into the blood treatment unit, and (ii) a second amount of used blood treatment fluid emitted from the blood treatment unit during another well-defined period.
