The belt retention guide comprises a first roller, a movable portion, and a fixing portion. The first roller engages with the beads and retains the position of the beads. The movable portion supports the first roller and the fixing portion engages with the movable portion. The beads are pinched between the first roller and the fixing portion, thereby retaining the position of the belt. The movable portion is configured to be movable between a fixed position where the first roller engages with the beads to pinch them, and a released position where the first roller is separated from the beads to release them. The movable portion is secured in the fixed position by insertion of a stop member through or between the movable portion and the fixing portion.

Said press comprises at least one revolving press band (1) and control means which control the course of the press band. The control is preferably carried out via rotating rods (3) that adjoin the press band (1) and that can be tilted at an convenient angle for the purpose of control. In comparison to conventional presses, the products obtained by means of the inventive press have improved quality. According to the inventive method, the band of a press can be controlled by appropriately tilting the rotating rods (3).

Bekannte Lösungsmöglichkeiten mit der Verwendung von balligen Rollen als Träger des Transportbands führen zu Spannungen im Material des Transportbands und können dieses beschädigen. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, ein Verfahren und eine Regelungseinrichtung bereitzustellen, welche ein Transportband (10) in Querrichtung zu seiner Laufrichtung exakt ausrichten. Hierzu wird ein Rand des Transportbands oder Webs mittels einer Sensoreinrichtung (1) erfasst, die von der Sensoreinrichtung erfassten Werte werden zu einer Schwenkeinrichtung (2), bevorzugt eine Hebe- und Senkeinrichtung, bei wenigstens einer Seite des Webs übertragen, welche die Seite des Webs als Reaktion auf die erhaltenen Werte hebt oder senkt und dadurch eine Korrektur der Querlage des Webs und des Bandlaufs bewirkt.

A tracking assembly (10) for tracking belts (12, 52) and webs comprises a support frame (20) which is adapted to be mounted below a travelling belt or web. A straight or angled support shaft (30) is pivotally mounted at its centre via a post (32) which is rotatable within bush (26, 56) on the support frame. A selected arc of rotation of the post within the bush (26, 56) is determined by an adjustable limit stop arrangement which can take the form of a pair of grub screws. A roller is mounted onto each end of the shaft (30). The two rollers (36, 50) have tapered ends (38, 54). When the belt or web travels off centre it will come into contact with the tapered end of the roller on the side to which the belt has moved. This will cause the shaft to pivot about a vertical axis of the post (32) and thereby steer the belt back to a central position.
