    摘要: An apparatus for successively removing single newspapers (60) being advanced along a stream conveyor (62) in shingled relation and transferring them to a gripper type conveyor (68) for additional processing. The apparatus includes a supporting frame (24, 26, 28) having an endless timing belt (52) operatively connected to a pair of spaced timing pulleys (36, 38) one of which is rotatably driven. The outer surface of the timing belt (52) has a plurality of cleat members (56) fixed thereon in spaced relation and travel with the belt between positions of operative association with both the stream and gripper conveyors. The cleat members (56) are effective in engaging the folded edge of each newspaper (60) to remove it from the stream conveyor (62) and, prior to being inserted into the gripper conveyor (68), an endless guide belt (74) is caused to frictionally engage the newspapers so as to maintain their position in the cleat members while being transferred by the endless timing belt (52).

    摘要: Für den Transport von Papierschlauchabschnitten sind zur Richtungsänderung zwei Gruppen von Transportbandpaaren vorgesehen. Die Transportbandpaare schließen in der Projektion einen Winkel miteinander ein. Die Umlenkrollen des ersten Transportbandpaares sind gegenüber den Umlenkrollen des zweiten Transportbandpaares der gleichen Gruppe in Längsrichtung derart versetzt, daß eine Verbindungsgerade durch die Drehachsen benachbarter Umlenkrollen parallel zu den gemeinsamen Achsen der Umlenkrollen der benachbarten Gruppen oder parallel zu Senkrechten auf die gemeinsamen Achsen verläuft. Es ist jeweils in gleichen Abständen von den Umlenkrollen einer Gruppe auf einem Transportband eines Transportbandpaares ein im wesentlichen punktförmig aufliegender Mitnehmer angeordnet. Mit dieser Transporteinrichtung lassen sich Richtungsänderungen in beliebiger Richtung durchführen.

After the detecting means detects a trailing edge of a recording medium, the control means (802) executes the first control or the second control based on a position of the trailing edge of the recording medium.
