摘要: A post-processing apparatus (3) includes a processing tray (18) for stacking a sheet (S) and a detection sensor (41) for detecting the presence or absence of the sheet placed on the processing tray. The post-processing apparatus includes a pinch roller (47) for moving towards the processing tray if the detection sensor does not detect the sheet, and a longitudinal alignment roller (40) configured to rotate by a predetermined amount while sandwiching the sheet in the processing tray with the pinch roller to elongate the sheet. By holding a rear end of the sheet in the processing tray with a paddle section (30) and elongating the sheet towards the downstream side with the longitudinal alignment roller, the presence or absence of the sheet is detected by the detection sensor.

摘要: Provided is a web carrier which can prevent creasing of a web by detecting a sign of creasing of a web during carriage of the web. The web carrier (1) for carrying a sheetlike web (10) by means of a plurality of rollers (2) detects the linear pattern of a waveform generated on the web (10) from an image picked up by means of a camera (imaging means) (3) using an image analysis means (73) in a controller (7), recognizes a state becoming the sign of creasing with the aid of the image and simultaneously analyzes the entering direction of the linear pattern into a guide roller (2c), drives the shaft (20c) of the guide roller (angle adjusting roller) (2c) in the direction of canceling the waveform (so that the web is not creased), and controls an alignment adjusting means (5) such that the web is not creased.

The sheet bundle image (1501 - 1505) is displayed with a size corresponding to the stacking amount and a first sheet bundle image (1501 - 1505).

The method provides for applying torque (Cd) at at least one drive element (29, 31) placed along the abovementioned zigzag path, in a manner such that the continuous elongated element (11) is conducted in the feed direction (F1-F8) and that the longitudinal tension (ad) in the continuous elongated element (11) itself downstream of the drive element (29, 31) is reduced with respect to the longitudinal tension (cm) upstream of the same drive element (29, 31).

摘要: A sheet transfer assembly is provided for transferring a sheet from a supplying conveyor to a receiving conveyor. The receiving conveyor includes a transport belt having a support surface for supporting the sheet on a contact side of the sheet. The supplying conveyor is arranged for advancing the sheet in a transport direction towards the receiving conveyor. The sheet transfer assembly includes a sheet guidance element arranged downstream of the supplying conveyor in the transport direction for guiding the sheet towards the receiving conveyor, the sheet guidance element includes a guidance surface for supporting the sheet at its contact side; wherein the guidance surface includes two guide faces. Both guide faces extending in the transport direction over the support surface of the transport belt and being cooperatively arranged for supporting both side edge portions at the sides of the sheet in a lateral direction, which is substantially perpendicular to the transport direction, thereby forming a space in between one another allowing a middle portion of the sheet to move towards the support surface of the transport belt.

摘要: A base material processing apparatus includes first and second edge sensors and a displacement amount calculation part. The first edge sensor acquires a first detection result (R1) by detecting the position of an edge of a base material in a width direction at a first detection position. The second edge sensor acquires a second detection result (R2) by detecting the position of the edge of the base material at a second detection position. The displacement amount calculation part calculates the amount of displacement in the position of the base material in the transport direction or the amount of difference in the transporting speed of the base material on the basis of the first and second detection results (R1, R2). Thus, the amount of displacement in the position or the amount of difference in the transporting speed can be detected without depending on images such as register marks.
