Abstract:
Abstract:
A stacked connector comprises a first receptacle (14) in a first portion (78) of the connector. A second receptacle (16) is stacked on the first receptacle (14) in the first portion (78) of the connector. A group (20) of first contacts (18) is arranged in the first receptacle (14). A group (22) of second contacts (18) is arranged in the second receptacle (16). A second portion (80) of the connector is arranged adjacent to the first and second receptacles (14, 16) and includes a recess (70) extending across the first and second receptacles (14, 16) for receiving an insert (24) containing at least one filtering circuit element. The groups (20, 22) of the first and second contacts (18) have extensions (66, 68) extending into the second portion (80) of the connector, the extensions (66, 68) of the first and second contacts are arranged along one wall (88) of the recess (70) for connection to the insert (24). A group (106) of third contacts (96, 98) is provided separate from the groups (20, 22) of the first and second contacts. The group (106) of third contacts is arranged along a different wall (90) of the recess (70) for connection to the insert (24) and for connecting the stacked connector to circuitry external of the stacked connector and the insert (24).
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a housing suitable for use in an electrical connector, which housing is attachable to a plurality of pins which are part of or inserted into a substrate and comprises a base provided with a plurality of through-holes for receiving the pins, and a plurality of locking elements, which, during attachment of the housing to the pins, slide over the pins and are pushed into the through-holes thus establishing interference between the housing and the pins. The locking elements are an integral part of the housing and connected thereto by means of a connection which fails during the said attachment of the housing to the pins.
Abstract:
A rotation device (100) for an optical shuffle is disclosed. The rotation device includes a housing (102) having a twisted guide channel (104) extending through an interior portion thereof. The twisted guide channel (104) is adapted to receive the ribbon matrix (110) in a first orientation at a receiving end (106) thereof, and to reorient the ribbon matrix (110) as the ribbon matrix is guided through the twisted guide channel into a second orientation at an output end (108) thereof. The rotation device can also include an input potting chamber (122) adjacent to the receiving end (106) of the twisted guide channel (104), for potting the ribbon matrix (110) in the first orientation, and an output potting chamber (124), adjacent to the output end of the twisted guide channel, for potting the ribbon matrix in the second orientation.
Abstract:
A tool (10) having a frame (16), handles (22) pivotably mounted to the frame, a drive system (18) connected to the frame, and a user actuated trigger (26) pivotably connected to a first one (22L) of the handles. The drive system (18) has a longitudinally movably actuator (32). The improvement comprises a linkage (64) between an end (54) of the trigger (26) and the actuator (32) of the drive system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a connector, particularly for airbag ignition systems, comprising a casing (1, 2, 3) with a holder (4) for a flat conductor strip (10) and means for contacting it with contact ends (7), wherein the contacting means are metal strips (6), with crimp plates (9) formed on their first ends near the cable, an electric component being mounted around their central regions, and their second ends each being electrically connected to a connecting tongue of a contact end (7).
