摘要： A table having a horizontally enlarged worksurface, and a pair of leg assemblies fixed to the worksurface directly at the opposite end edges thereof and projecting downwardly for engagement with a floor. Each leg assembly includes an upright leg member disposed directly at the rear corner of the worksurface, and at its lower end this leg is fixed to a horizontally elongate foot which projects forwardly for engagement with the floor. The leg adjacent its upper end has a support bracket which projects forwardly directly under and fixedly secured to the worksurface in close proximity to the end edge thereof. The outer side surfaces of the leg and base are preferably vertically flat and substantially vertically coplanar, and are also substantially vertically coplanar with the end edge of the table. A cable-accommodating trough is fixed to and extends horizontally between the legs in downwardly spaced relation from the rear edge of the worksurface. This trough defines two separate channels for permitting separation of telecommunication and power cables. The trough projects a small distance beyond the rear edge of the worksurface and legs to facilitate feeding of cables from the worksurface downwardly past the rear edge thereof to the trough, and the feeding of cables directly between aligned troughs of linking tables by passing the cables directly behind the legs.

摘要： A modular electrical system for mounting on furniture components such as wall panels (12). The system includes modules (17) which each include at least one power block (25, 26) and provides increased electrical circuit capacity, which capacity in the preferred embodiment is at least six electrical circuits. The power block (25, 26) provides different groupings of circuits which are externally accessible, such as for connection to removable receptacle units (181), on opposite sides thereof. Flexible electrical connectors (18) are provided for connection to and transmitting electrical power between power blocks of adjacent panels. Each connector (18) transmits only one grouping of electrical circuits therethrough, whereby two such connectors (18) are normally utilized for connection between adjacent power blocks of adjacent panels to transmit all electrical circuits therebetween. The individual flexible electrical connectors (18) can be used for transmitting electrical energy into branching panels (201), which branching panels may be provided with only the selected grouping of circuits.

摘要： A furniture component, such as a cabinet structure, having corner recesses extending vertically of the cabinet structure and each adapted to receive a vertically elongate corner trim element. The corner trim element preferably has a rounded convex configuration on one side thereof, and a generally square corner configuration on the other side thereof. The corner trim element can be positioned in the respective recess in two different orientations so that either the rounded or square corner configurations can be exteriorly exposed. When the square corner configuration is exposed, then the corner trim element also defines therein an accessible vertically elongate groove which accommodates one-half of a connecting element, such as a vertical hinge element, for permitting the corner of the cabinet to be secured to another furniture component, such as another cabinet or an upright wall panel.

摘要： In an electrical system for a wall system (10) formed from a plurality of serially connected wall panels, each panel (11) has at least one electrical terminal (16) mounted thereon, and the terminals (16. 17) are joined by electrical cables (21) or flexible electrical connectors (36). The electrical system is a seven-conductor system employing three live and three neutral conductors for defining three separate electrical circuits each having a separate neutral. A portable power-tap unit (51) can be plugged into a terminal (17) for selective engagement with any one of the three circuits. The power-tap unit (51) has a connector portion (66) which plugs into the terminal (17) and is defined solely by three contacts (67. 68, 69). Two of the three contacts, namely the live and neutral contacts (67. 69), are mounted on a carrier (81) which is slidably supported on the power-tap housing (56) so as to be slidably displaced between three selected positions so that the power-tap (51) can be selectively joined to any one of the three circuits, the terminal (17) having seven contacts (47) from which the live and neutral contacts (67, 69) of the power-tap unit (51) select one of three pairs of live and neutral contacts according to their selected position.

摘要： A work surface (11) is mounted on a pair of brackets (22) which are releasably mounted on and project outwardly in cantilevered relationship from respective and uprights (16) of a wall panel (13). In each end rail (36) of the work surface (11) a latching lever (62) is pivoted at 63 and biased down by a spring (67) to latch with the respective bracket (22). The lever (12) prevents the work surface (11) moving away from the panel (13) and from being lifted upwards and has one end (79) accessible beneath the rear edge (38) of the work surface (11) to be manually moved upwardly to release the work surface (11) from the bracket (22), whereupon the work surface (11) can be slidably displaced outwardly away from the panel (13). When the work surface (11) is manually slidably moved forwardly toward the panel (13), the lever (62) automatically re-engages its respective bracket. Each lever (62) has a catch part (71) that engages the edge of a hole (74) in part of the respective bracket (22). To release the catch part (71), the work surface (11) is moved slightly towards the panel (13) before the end (79) is pressed upwards.

摘要： A collaboration system can be configured to support a large number of active clients in a workspace where the workspace is distributed into diverse groups of objects. While participating in the workspace, a first active client can consolidate a plurality of objects into a group. Actions taken on this group maintain the proportions and relative positions of the objects within the group. These actions are distributed to a second active client in the workspace wherein the second active client applies these actions to their copies of the objects thereby synchronizing the viewports of the first and second active clients. Actions on a group of objects include resizing, moving, pinning, deleting, and duplicating the group as a whole.
