Systems and techniques are provided for synchronizing playback of a video at a plurality of client-side nodes in a network including a server-side node and the plurality of client-side nodes. The system includes logic to receive a sync video message at the server from a first client-side node identifying a sync event time. The system includes logic to map the sync event time at the server to a sync frame identifier. The server sends a follower sync video message to a follower set of one or more other client-side nodes including the sync frame identifier. In response to the follower sync video message the one or more client-side nodes in the follower set can synchronize playing the video at a frame corresponding to the sync frame identifier.

When the backrest is pivoted from the upright position to the reclining position, both of the seat and the pivot axis move forward with respect to said base, and the seat front portion flexes with respect to the seat rear portion such that the angle between said upward faces of said seat front portion and the seat rear portion increases. The backrest may also include an upper portion and a lower portion that can pivot with respect to one another. When the backrest is moved to the recline position, the angle between the forward faces of the upper and lower backrest portions decreases.

The chair back has the appearance of a unitary molded panel, but is formed from multiple mold shots which preferably are performed at multiple stations on a mold tool. By providing multiple mold shots and selected materials to form different areas of the chair back, different performance characteristics are generated including the provision of a peripheral frame providing structural rigidity to the chair back, a lumbar support panel which provides localized support to the lumbar region of the chair occupant, and a thin sheet-like support panel extending between the frame and enclosing the interior region defined between the peripheral frame to provide a more flexible and pliant surface providing more comfortable contact with the occupant's back.

An arm assembly (21) on a chair (11) includes an armrest (22) which adjacent one end is connected to an upper end of a support column (23). The support column is axially slidably supported within an elongate support tube (61) which projects downwardly adjacent a side of the chair seat (14). The support column and support tube have a cooperating linear anti-friction bearing arrangement (71) therebetween, the latter incorporating a resilient support track (77) to eliminate circumferential clearance. A latch member (82) is carried on the column and cooperates with a plurality of latch-receiving slots (85) formed in the support tube. The latch member is activated by a push rod (91) which projects upwardly through the support column, and at its upper end is activated by a lever (93) which terminates in a button (96) adjacent the front of the armrest. The latch member (82) has an inclined cam surface (87) and the lower end of the push rod (91) has a cam roller (88) which on downward movement of the push rod effects sideways movement of the latch member and disengagement of the latch member from the slots (85).
