摘要: Physiological monitoring is provided through a lightweight wearable monitor (12) that includes a flexible extended wear electrode patch (15) and a reusable monitor recorder (14) that removably snaps into a receptacle (25) on the electrode patch (15). The wearable monitor (12) sits centrally on a patient's chest along the sternum (13) oriented top-to-bottom. Placement of the wearable monitor (12) at the sternal midline (16), with its unique narrow "hourglass"-like shape, significantly improves the ability of the wearable monitor (12) to cutaneously sense cardiac electrical potential signals, particularly P-wave and QRS interval signals indicating ventricular activity in the ECG waveforms. ECG electrodes (38, 39) on the electrode patch (15) are tailored to be positioned axially along the midline (16) of the sternum (13) for capturing action potential propagation in an orientation that corresponds to the aVF lead used in a conventional 12-lead ECG used to sense positive or upright P-waves (121).

摘要: A method for continuous data transfer is provided. Data blocks are generated from a continuous data stream captured via a physiological monitoring device by segmenting data from the continuous data stream into the data blocks. A time at which the data associated with each data block occurs is determined and a sample number is associated with each data block. The data blocks are transmitted from the physiological monitoring device to a server. The data blocks are ordered on the server based on the time and the sample number associated with each data block.

摘要: An implantable medical device (10) is disclosed. A housing includes a hollow body (11) forming a first electrode (62, 46) on an outer surface with end caps (12, 13) affixed to opposite ends, one end cap (12) forming a second electrode (61, 45). A microcontroller circuit is provided and includes a microcontroller (41) operable under program instructions stored within a non-volatile memory device (53). An analog front end (44) is interfaced to the electrodes (45, 46, 61, 62) to sense electrocardiographic signals. A transceiver circuit (42) is operable to wirelessly communicate with an external data device. The program instructions define instructions to continuously sample the electrocardiographic signals into the non-volatile memory device (53) and to offload the non-volatile memory device to the external data device. A receiving coil (33, 47) and a charging circuit (48) are operable to charge an onboard power source (49) for the microcontroller circuit.

摘要: A system and method for interactive processing of ECG data are presented. An electrocardiogram is displayed. A user selection of a portion of the displayed ECG is received. Digitized signals corresponding to the selection are obtained. A list of digital filters for filtering the selection are displayed. A user selection of one or more sets of the digital filters is received, with each of the sets including one or more of the filters from the list. The selected sets are applied to the digitized signals for the selection. A filtered ECG for the selection is generated for each of the sets based on the signals filtered by that set. The filtered selection ECG for each of the sets are presented on the display.
