    摘要: The invention relates to an optical memory in which an optical recording medium (3) is built in a case (1), and also to a memory apparatus. Recording, reproducing and erasing operations are performed by irradiating light via a transparent portion of the case (1) onto the built-in optical recording medium (3). The optical recording medium (3) built in the case (1) has face vibrations with respect to the case (1), because it is moved within the case (1). The present invention is characterized by employing such a construction for optically mitigating irregular fluctuation in reflectivity caused by this face vibration. In the optical memory of the present invention, the reflectivity fluctuation caused by an interference effect made between reflection light from the case (1) and air, and also reflection light from the optical recording medium (3) and air due to the relative deviation in the face vibrations, may be reduced by antireflection films (2a, 2b) provided in the case (1) and the optical recording medium (3). In a memory apparatus of the present invention, the above-described memory is mounted, the fluctuation in the reflectivity is monitored and laser power is varied in order to further mitigate the reflection vibrations.

    摘要: A recording material made of an alloy capable of exhibiting different spectral reflectances at an equal temperature, depending on a heating-cooling cycle to which the alloy is subjected. The alloy can possess in solid state different crystal structures at a first temperature higher than the room temperature and at a second temperature lower than the first temperature but not lower than the room temperature. A part of the surface of the alloy exhibits, as a result of being quenched from the first temperature, a crystal structure which is different from the crystal structure at the second temperature, while the other part possesses the crystal structure at the second temperature, so that these two parts exhibit different spectral reflectances. Using this recording medium, it is possible to record, reproduce and erase information by means of, for example, laser beams.
