    摘要： The tape cartridge according to the present invention is provided with a slider member (13) slidably mounted for sliding movement in forward and backyard directions at an outer side under surface on the bottom wall of a main casing (1) for closing and opening a pocket 5, a front lid (11) pivotally connected to the main casing (1) for covering a front face of the main casing (1), and an upper lind (12) for closing the open upper face of the pocket (5). A front edge of the upper lid (12) is pivotally connected to an upper edge of the front lid (11) through pins (20). When the front lid (11) is pivoted for upward opening, the upper lid (12) is displaced for retreat to a rear side from an open upper face of the pocket (5) in association with the movement of the front lid (11).

    摘要： A tape cartridge has a right and left pair of reels 3 around which a tape 2 is wound, within a casing 1 equipped with a front cover 7. A reel lock mechanism 19 is provided within the casing 1 for preventing the reels 3, 3 from rotating. A release member 30 is disposed on the inner, upper face of the bottom wall of the casing 1 so as to be movable back and forth. A slider 9 for opening and closing the lower face of the pocket 6 for tape loading is fitted to the outer, lower face of the bottom wall of the casing 1 so as to be movable back and forth. When the slider 9 moves backward, the release member 30 is moved backward nearly at the terminating end of the backward travel stroke of the slider 9. With the backward movement of the release member 30, the reel lock mechanism 19 is moved, thereby releasing the reels 3, 3 from locking for rotation. Thus, while the front cover 7 is kept from any excessive upward opening force, the reels 3, 3 can be locked and released for rotation by the movement of the slider 9.
