The present invention provides a user equipment registration method, a proximity service server, and a mobility management entity. The user equipment registration method includes: receiving, by a network side device, a proximity service request sent by a user equipment; assigning a D2D identifier to the user equipment; and sending a proximity service response to the user equipment, where the proximity service response carries the D2D identifier. In this way, the user equipment may announce its existence at a current location by using the D2D identifier, so that another device discovers the user equipment; and the network side device may further effectively control discovery and communication of the user equipment by using the D2D identifier, so that an operator can provide a proximity service that is effectively controlled by a network.

The present invention is applicable to the field of communications, and provides a method and a system for differentiating between subscribers. The method includes: acquiring, by a control plane node, information of a mobile virtual network operator subscribed by a subscriber; and differentiating, by the control plane node, between the subscribers according to the information of the mobile virtual network operator subscribed by the subscriber. In embodiments of the present invention, by acquiring information of a mobile virtual network operator subscribed by the subscriber, the subscriber and a real subscriber subscribing a network can be differentiated according to the information of the mobile virtual network operator subscribed by the subscriber, thus, when the network is congested, the real subscriber subscribing the network and a wholesale subscriber can be differentiated according to information configured by a user equipment above, thereby implementing differentiated control and processing of the two types of subscribers.

Embodiments of the present invention provide an access method, a base station, an access point and a user equipment. The access method includes: a base station sends a first message to an access point through a first communication interface, for requesting the access point to establish a second bearer with a user equipment UE, the second bearer being based on a second communication interface, wherein the first message carries an identifier of the UE and an identifier of an E-RAB; and the base station establishes a first bearer with the access point, the first bearer being based on the first communication interface, wherein the first bearer and the second bearer correspond to the E-RAB. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the first bearer which is based on the first communication interface is established between the access point and the base station, and the second bearer which is based on the second communication interface is established between the access point and the UE, in order to transmit data through the first bearer and the second bearer under the control of the base station, thereby realizing load balance between the base station and the access point.

The present invention discloses a method, a device, and a system for establishing a device-to-device connection and relates to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: sending, by a first device in D2D communication, a D2D authentication request to an MME that serves the first device, so as to trigger the MME to authenticate the first device; receiving, by the first device, an authentication response message transferred by the MME by using an eNB and enabling, according to the authentication response message, D2D monitoring and broadcasting functions; and, when the first device detects a second device in the D2D communication, sending, by the first device, a connection establishment request message to the eNB, so as to trigger the eNB to establish a D2D communication link between the first device and the second device. Thereby, a D2D connection between the two devices is controlled by a network. Therefore, an operator can effectively perform functions, such as control, management, and charging, on the D2D communication. In addition, compared with the prior art, after the D2D connection is established, because the network can be effectively controlled, interference brought by D2D communication to a UE can further be eliminated.
