The present invention discloses a method, an apparatus and a system for device discovery, which belong to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: acquiring, by a first device, a user identification of a target user, and acquiring, according to the user identification of the target user, broadcast information of a second device which the target user logs in; when broadcast information of another device is monitored through a device-to-device (D2D) function, matching, by the first device, the monitored broadcast information with the broadcast information of the second device, and if the match is successful, determining, by the first device, that the second device and the first device are within a preset distance. In the present invention, since the first device is capable of monitoring the broadcast information of other devices within a preset distance, the first device matches the acquired broadcast information of the second device with the monitored broadcast information to determine whether the target user is monitored by the first device, therefore, the accuracy of discovering a short distance user is improved and, thus, the problem in the prior art that the accuracy of discovering a user in a short distance cannot be guaranteed by using a cell identity (ID) is solved.

The method includes: obtaining, by a device-to-device D2D server, registration information of a first device needing to perform D2D communication; performing pre-matching for the first device according to the registration information of the first device to find a second device; and triggering an evolved Node Base eNB to establish a D2D communication link between the first device and the second device. In the present invention, a D2D server triggers an eNB to establish a direct device-to-device connection between two devices, so that establishment and usage of the connection between the two devices can be controlled by a network. In this way, a carrier can implement control, management, charging, and the like of D2D, and it is ensured that interference of D2D on a common UE is under control.

The access method includes: a base station sends a first message to an access point through a first communication interface, for requesting the access point to establish a second bearer with a user equipment UE, the second bearer being based on a second communication interface, wherein the first message carries an identifier of the UE and an identifier of an E-RAB; and the base station establishes a first bearer with the access point, the first bearer being based on the first communication interface, wherein the first bearer and the second bearer correspond to the E-RAB. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the first bearer which is based on the first communication interface is established between the access point and the base station, and the second bearer which is based on the second communication interface is established between the access point and the UE, in order to transmit data through the first bearer and the second bearer under the control of the base station, thereby realizing load balance between the base station and the access point.
