摘要: Methods of operation of a wireless device are provided. In particular, Media Access Control (MAC) protocol aspects are disclosed relating to Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) cells and, more generally, to cells of a cellular communications network operating in an unlicensed frequency spectrum. According to one aspect, a method of operation of a wireless device comprises transmitting an Uplink (UL) transmission on a cell for a corresponding UL Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process, the cell operating in an unlicensed frequency spectrum, and setting a locally maintained status for the UL HARQ process to Acknowledgement (ACK) based on an assumption that the UL transmission was successful.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method performed by a wireless device, for receiving system information from a network node of a wireless communication system. The system information is received in a synchronization signal (SS) block of an SS burst set comprising at least one SS block. The system information is multiplexed with information providing a time index indicating which SS block of the SS burst set that is being received. The method comprises receiving the information providing the time index, and receiving the system information, which comprises descrambling the system information using a scrambling sequence generated based on the information providing the time index. The method also comprises determining an accuracy of the information providing the time index, based on an error-detection code related to the received system information. The disclosure also relates to corresponding network node method and apparatus.

摘要: According to some embodiments, a method of synchronizing a wireless device with a network node comprises receiving a radio subframe transmitted from the network node. The MBSFN radio subframe comprises a first Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) associated with a first Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and paired with a first Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) associated with a second OFDM symbol. The method further comprises detecting the first PSS and detecting the first SSS within the radio subframe. The method determines system information associated with the network node based on the detected PSS and SSS. The radio subframe is transmitted from the network node as a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Services Single-Frequency Network (MBSFN) subframe.

A method in a node for random access in a wireless network comprises, determining a set of sub-carrier shifts, wherein each sub-carrier shift indicates a shift with respect to a starting position in frequency domain for transmitting a random access preamble. The method further comprises transmitting a random access preamble to an access node, wherein the random access preamble is transmitted according to the selected sub-carrier shift.
