A heat fixing roll for a copying machine comprises an insulating layer (12) formed on the surface of a hollow tube (11), a heating resistor layer (13) formed on the surface of the insulating layer by uniformly thermal spray coating a resistor material, a screw-like heating resistor (14) formed by forming a helical groove (19) having a depth reaching the surface of the insulating layer (12) by using a laser irradiation head connected to an electric resistance compensator, and an antisticking layer (25) formed on the surface of the resistor (14) and the groove (19) by coating. The present invention also provides a method of producing the heat fixing roll and an electronic copying machine provided with the roll.

A combination of a dehydration process for dehydrating sewage sludge by mixing a quicklime-containing material with the sludge, a cement conversion process for introducing the solids produced by the dehydration process into a cement kiln 7 with other cement raw materials to yield cement, and a gas treatment process for introducing gases generated in the dehydration process into a cement burning process, thereby enabling conversion of the sewage sludge into cement without releasing wastes, with a reduction in fuel consumption for the cement burning, and a reduction in NOx content of the exhaust gas.

This invention relates a hot forming mold made of xonotlite group. Xonotlite or wollastnite transformed therefrom is known as a heat-resisting material but when bulk density thereof becomes high, 0.6 to 2.20, its bending strength and hardness increase so that xonotlite or wollanstnite can be sufficiently used as a mold for hot forming mold. A material obtained by filter pressing an aqueous slurry of xonotlite and drying to remove moisture at temperature less than about 700°C is eaily cut used as a mold for molding plastic, glass and the like. Those heat-treated at a temperature up to about 1200°C can be subjected to machining after heat treatment for use as a mold for superplastic forming aluminium, titanium and the like.

In an automatic powder feeding apparatus of the type that the apparatus comprises a sensor nozzle for blowing a carrier fluid into an inlet of a detector tubular passageway having an inlet and an outlet, means for detecting a pressure difference between an inlet side pressure detecting port provided upstream of the outlet of the sensor nozzle and an outlet side pressure detecting port provided at the outlet of the detector tubular passageway, means for shunting a part of the carrier fluid to the inlet side pressure detecting port and regulating a pressure at the outlet of the detector tubular passageway, the means for regulating a pressure at the outlet of the detector tubular passageway being an injector connected via a valve to the outlet, and an automatic control valve having the pressure difference applied as its input and a flow rate of a driving fluid of the injector issued as its control output and including means for presetting a set value corresponding to the pressure difference, in order to obviate a transient increasing phenomenon of a powder flow rate occurring upon starting for recommencing an operation from an operation stop condition and to obtain a stable powder flow rate from the moment of starting, the automatic control valve and the outlet side pressure detecting port are connected with each other via a three-way valve.

A spout section of an end wall (2) of a cylindrical body (1) constituting a fundamental section of the gun head has a pair of opposed slits (3,4) bored therein such that the spacing between these slits (3,4) decreases progressively as approaching the outer ends (3b,4b) thereof, and the inner ends (3a,4a) of these slits (3,4) are communicated with a powder path (5) formed inside the cylindrical body (1) at opposed spots (6,7) close to the inner surface of the powder path (5).
