    摘要： A lacing system for tightening an article includes a first guide that is coupled with the article and positioned within a first zone of the article and a second guide that is coupled with the article and positioned within a second zone of the article with at least a portion of the second zone being different than the first zone. A first tension member is guided by the first guide within the first zone and a second tension member is guided by the second guide within the second zone. Tensioning of the first tension member or second tension member causes tightening of the respective zone of the article. A tensioning mechanism is also coupled with the article and with the first and second tension members. The tensioning mechanism is configured to tension the first and second tension members to tighten the first and second zones of the article.

In order to improve the tension of the shoe on the foot of the wearer, the fastening system (8) comprises, in addition to the fastening lace (9), at least one strength element (12) which has at least two ends (10, 11), one end (10) of the strength element (12) being secured in the region of one of the two tensioning sections (6), the strength element (12) extending into the region of the sole (3), the strength element (12) running from the tensioning section (6) as far as the sole (3) at least in some sections in at least one guide (13) in which the strength element (12) is at least partially displaceably arranged in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the strength element (12), and a loop (14) of the strength element (12), formed in the region of the tensioning section (6), being surrounded by the fastening lace (9).
