摘要： Eine Vorrichtung zum Trocknen von Gegenständen (2), insbesondere von lackierten Fahrzeugkarosserien, umfasst in bekannter Weise einen Trockentunnel (6), dessen Innenraum mit einer Inertgasatmosphäre gefüllt ist und der mindestens eine Heizeinrichtung zum Erwärmen der Inertgasatmosphäre aufweist. Eine UV-Bestrahlungskammer (7) ist dem Trockentunnel (6) nachgeschaltet und enthält ebenfalls eine Inertgasatmosphäre. Die Gegenstände können in der UV-Bestrahlungskammer (7) mittels mindestens einer UV-Lampe (8, 9) bestrahlt werden, die zur Abfuhr ihrer Wärmeleistung eine mit einem Kühlmedium arbeitende Kühleinrichtung aufweist. Die zu trocknenden Gegenstände (2) werden mittels eines Fördersystems durch den Trockentunnel (6) und die UV-Bestrahlungskammer (7) hindurchgeführt. Zur effektiven Energieausnutzung ist das Kühlmedium der UV-Lampe (8, 9) zum Trockentunnel (6) zurückführbar und wärmemäßig an die darin herrschende Inertgasatmosphäre so ankoppelbar, dass die von der UV-Lampe (8, 9) erzeugte Wärme teilweise zur Erwärmung der Inertgasatmosphäre im Trockentunnel (6) beiträgt.

摘要： An apparatus (2) for spin coating surfaces with liquid polymer comprises a spin coating chamber (6) having a rotatable chuck (4) for supporting an object (5) to be coated. A distributor (12) introduces gases into the chamber. A solvent vapor and carrier gas supply provides a carrier gas having a controlled level of solvent vapor therein within the range of from 0 to saturation concentrations of solvent vapor. A solvent vapor sensor (32) is positioned with respect to the coating chamber to produce signals which correspond to the concentration of solvent vapor in the coating chamber. A control means (20) is connected to the solvent vapor concentration sensor and to the solvent vapor and carrier gas supply means for controlling the level of solvent concentration in the carrier gas supplied by the solvent vapor and carrier gas supply means.

摘要： A method of and an apparatus for coating a substrate with a polymer solution to produce a film of uniform thickness, includes mounting the substrate inside an enclosed housing and passing a control gas, which may be a solvent vapor-bearing gas into the housing through an inlet. The polymer solution is deposited onto the surface of the susbstrate in the housing and the substrate is then spun. The control gas and any solvent vapor and particulate contaminants suspended in the control gas are exhausted from the housing through an outlet and the solvent vapor concentration is controlled by controlling temperature of the housing and the solvent from which the solvent vapor-bearing gas is produced. Instead the concentration can be controlled by mixing gases having different solvent concentrations. The humidity of the gas may also be controlled.
