    摘要: The present invention relates to an electrical heater (22) for heating substantially cylindrical objects (12), particularly for heating hot runner nozzles (10) for hot runner systems, having at least one substantially cylindrical carrier and at least one heat conductor strip (28) attached to the carrier (12). In order to reduce the causes of a premature outage of the heater, the invention provides for each heat conductor strip (28) to extend substantially in the axial direction (A) of the carrier (12), wherein the heat conductor strips (28) are electrically connected to one another by conductive strips (30) with a low electrical resistance, and where each conductive strip (30) extends substantially in the tangential direction (T) of the carrier (12).

    摘要: An apparatus for retaining a heater on an injection molding nozzle comprises a retaining body configured to fit around the injection molding nozzle. The retaining body has two flanges extending inward. One is configured to be received in a groove in the injection molding nozzle; the other is configured to be received in a groove in the heater. An axial slot allows the retaining body to elastically spread outward. The retaining body also has at least one aperture that receives a thermocouple. The aperture is preferably an elongated hole having an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the retaining body. Preferably the heater is a thick-film heater and the thermocouple is installed adjacent one on the resistive elements of the thick-film heater. When the resistive elements produce different heat levels, the thermocouple is preferably installed adjacent the resistive element that produces the greatest heat.
