摘要： A garment inspection device 10 comprises a base 12, a double acting pneumatic cylinder 14 extending upwardly from the base, a central column 16 extending upwardly from the piston rod 22 of the pneumatic cylinder, and a frame structure 18 which is mounted on the column 16 for rotation about a vertical axis. The width of the frame structure 18 can be adjusted by means of adjustable arms 66. In use, a garment 100 is pulled over the frame structure 18 for inspection. There is a fluorescent tube 30 which illuminates the garment from the inside when in position on the frame structure 18. The device has a foot pedal 92 whereby compressed air can be admitted to the top or to the bottom of the pneumatic cylinder 14 in order to displace the column 16 and the frame structure 18 upwardly or downwardly with respect to the base 12.

摘要： A sock (1) to be oriented is put random on an elongated support (3). Then a rotation about its own axis is given. In case the sock (1) has a heel (1b), notwithstanding it is elastically stretched on the support (3) this heel is visible since it forms a slight but relevant protrusion. In case the sock is tubular it is fully stretched on the support (3), but the seam of the foot is visible at the top of the support (3). Then during the rotation the passage of the heel (1b) is detected or the seam is detected by means of an optical sensor (4). While sock (1) is in rotation on the support (3), and then with it the protrusion (1b). An optical beam detects this protrusion (1b) or seam and stops the rotation of the sock. Once the sensor (4) has detected the heel (1b) or the seam, the rotation of the sock (1) is discontinued and the relative angular position is kept as reference position for following operations of finishing. The rotation of the sock can be carried out by means of axial integral rotation of the support (3) with the sock (1) with respect to a support base. Or, the rotation of the sock can be carried out by means of counter rotating movement of rollers (6, 6') tangential to the support (3). The support (3) can be part of a production cycle wherein the sock follows a path that comprises various work stations (10, 20, 30, 40).

摘要： Toe closing and boarding apparatus has boarding apparatus (10) to which hose are fed by a reciprocally-acting transfer mechanism (16) from carriers (12) of a known toe closing machine. The boarding apparatus (10) has at least one pair of heatable boarding forms (14,15) mounted e.g. on a turret to move between hose-receiving and hose- discharging positions (B and A); at the former position there is a wind-on roller (30) and at the latter position a pair of wind-off or discharge rollers (32, 33). The forms (14, 15) at their ends remote from the toe closing machine are interconnected by a hinge (31) having a rotatably-drivable hinge pin (46) for causing the form (15) to swing into a superposed, registered position over the other form immediately prior to discharge of the hose. Boarding of stockings, socks and pantihose garments is possible by means of the boarding apparatus (10).
