    摘要： A process for obtaining highly stable color photographic images utilizes a silver halide photographic element comprising an essentially colorless, immobile compound which is capable of complexing with ferrous ions to form a dye. The complexing compound contains a complexing moiety which is represented by the formula:
    wherein m is zero or a positive integer 1 to 3, n and p are independently 0 or 1 and represents a single or double bond. Z is R 1 -N=, O=, S-, R 1 -P=, (R 1 ) 2 P- or (R 1 ) 3 P=, and when Z is (R 1 ) 2 P-, n is 1, otherwise n is 0. R, R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and R 6 are independently hydrogen, amino, hydroxy, mercapto, alkoxy, alkyl, aryl or a heterocyclic moiety. When R 6 is so defined, p is 1 and is a single bond. If m is 0, R 1 and R 2 , R 2 and R 3 , and R 3 and R 4 taken together can independently represent the carbon and heteroatoms necessary to complete a substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclic or heterocyclic nucleus, or if m is 1 to 3 , R 1 and R 2 , R 5 and R 6 , and R 3 and R 4 can independently represent the carbon and heteroatoms necessary to complete a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic nucleus. When R 5 and R 6 are so defined, p is 0 when -- is a double bond, and p is 1 when -- is a single bond.

    摘要： A color photographic material containing, as a color stain preventing agent, a substantially colorless phenol and! or naphthol derivative having a group which is not released by displacement of the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent at the 4-position thereof and at least one sulfonamido group and at least one sulfonamido group, acylamino group or sulfonyl group at other positions of the ring. The color stain preventing agent very effectively removes the oxidation product of a color developing agent at color development and maintain the effect for a long period of time.
