    摘要： A novel blend of two components: (a) a blend of algin and tamarind and (b) a polycationic electroconductive polymer is used as a paper-coating composition. The paper coated above has improvement in film-forming, reduction in air porosity, and an increase in oil and solvent holdout. The blend is in the form of an aqueous solution comprising 12% Conductive Polymer 261 and 0.4% of a blend of tamarind kernel powder and sodium alginate, 4:1 weight ratio. The coating on the paper will comprise 90-98.4% by weight Conductive Polymer 261 and 1.6-4% by weight of a blend of tamarind kernel powder and sodium alginate, 4:1 weight ratio.

    摘要： Electroconductive articles such as paper have a coating consisting essentially of (1) a barrier coating comprising a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, a styrene- butadiene latex, sodium alginate or a fluorocarbon with starch or a modified starch; and (2) an electroconductive coating. Such articles are made by applying the barrier coating to a substrate, allowing it to dry, applying the electroconductive coating over the barrier coating and allowing it to dry.

    wherein R₁ is an alkyl group or alkylene group having from about 12 to about 22 carbon atoms, R₂, R₃, R₄, R₅, and R₆ are independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl groups and aryl groups having from 1 to about 8 carbon atoms, n is a number of from 1 to about 5, and A is an anion. Also disclosed is an electrographic paper which comprises a base sheet coated on one surface with a dielectric coating composition and on its opposite surface with a conductive composition comprising a diquaternary ammonium compound of the formula shown. In addition, an electrographic imaging process is disclosed which comprises (a) providing an electrographic paper comprising a base sheet coated on one surface with a dielectric coating composition and on its opposite surface with a conductive coating which comprises a diquaternary ammonium compound of the formula shown; (b) generating an electrostatic latent image on the paper with an electrographic writing means; and (c) developing the latent image.
