    摘要： A container for carrying spectacles or the like is formed as an elongate case 1 having jaw members 2,3 at one end thereof for opening and closing the case 1. A single control button 4 is provided which is operatively connected to jaw moving means such that when the case 1 is open operation of the button 4 causes the jaw members 2,3 to close, while when the case 1 is closed, operation of the button 4 causes the jaw members 2,3 to open. This is achieved by the fact that the jaw members are acted upon by urging means that respectively act to open or close the case 1, one of the urging means being the stronger, and that upon operation of the button 4 the stronger of urging means is alternately engaged and disengaged.

    摘要： A contact lens container comprising an integrally molded one-piece synthetic resin receptacle (10) providing a well (14) having a peripheral wall (16) with a bottom portion (18), and a flange (20) extending about the periphery of the upper end of well. The bottom portion is relatively rigid and has a generally concave inner surface (30) for seating a contact lens thereon. The peripheral wall of the well has an annular, resiliently deflectable inversion portion above the bottom portion. Pressing upwardly against the bottom portion of the well inverts the inversion portion of the well and disposes the bottom portion with the lens thereon above the plane of the flange. The receptacle is moved against the eye of the user to place the lens (26) against the cornea and thereby cause the lens to seat thereon.
