The tube has sufficient buoyancy and flexibility to float on the water and conform to the shape of waves when the tube extends substantially in the direction of travel of the waves, causing water in the tube to be conveyed from the inlet and to be pressurised and the air to be compressed in a series of moving air pockets. The tube is reinforced to minimise energy losses through distortion or elongation. A converter output section (10) for receiving water and compressed air from the tube (3) for providing energy.

The platform has a front skirt with an inclined surface, on which there is a pair of ramps articulated, respectively, on the front upper edge of the floating body and to one another, the relative position of these ramps being controlled by means of positioning elements regulated electronically and by computer. The turbines consist of helical shafts arranged in a relationship of obliqueness with respect to the longitudinal axis of the body, supported on supports, and protected at the top by cowlings. In an alternative version, the assembly includes a third ramp located as a continuation of, and connected to, the second ramp, which passes above the cowling of the first turbine and supports its inner end on a support emerging from the surface of the platform.

The guide device comprises a number of reception funnels (4), the cross sections of which are narrowed down in the direction towards the energy converting engine (9). The plant moreover comprises a number of air chambers (16) and side chambers (10) in which the reception pipes (8) end.
