摘要: A foldable stirrup for mounting animals such as horses has a support arm for engagement with a stirrup leather and a base pivotally coupled to the support arm for supporting a rider's foot while mounting when the stirrup is in an open configuration. The base and the support arm are inwardly foldable together to a folded configuration. A mounting assist strap configured to engage the stirrup and provide a point of securement on the animal to be mounted is provided. Methods of mounting an animal using the foldable stirrup and mounting assist strap are provided.

摘要: A device and a method for monitoring a plane in space over an interval of time to create an image representing the time history of the plane in space. A line image sensor (2) captures a series of line images of the plane in space which are converted to digital information by an A/D converter (4) for storage in solid state memory (3). To product a time history image of the plane in space, the line images can be retrieved from the solid state memory (3) by a computer (7). The computer (7) displays the series of line images adjacent to each other to create the time history image. The present invention has a number of applications, including photo finish cameras.

摘要: [Problem] To provide a pace setting system that can be constructed using only simple equipment at a low price, that has a high degree of freedom in terms of the installation location and applicable competition, and that can be used casually.
[Solution] A pace setting system that presents, to an athlete 2, pace information pertaining to speed, wherein the system comprises: a plurality of smartphones 1a-1n having a communication function and an information output function; and a coordination control unit 11c that controls, via the communication function of each of the plurality of information processing terminals, the timing at which information is outputted from the information output function of each of the information processing terminals. The coordination control unit 11c, which can accommodate a plurality of athletes, outputs pace information that corresponds to a speed setting for each of the athletes, the pace information being outputted at a timing corresponding to each moving body.

摘要: A lane rope float having higher wave absorbing performance than before is provided. A lane rope float 100 is one that is attached to a rope R via a tubular portion 110 and divides lanes of a pool, and the lane rope float 100 is characterized by: including a plurality of blades 120 that protrude from a side surface 111 of the tubular portion 110 in parallel with the rope R, and a wall surface portion 130 that is coupled to side end portions 121 of the blades 120 to cover the blades 120, in which in an outer end portion 170 of the lane rope float 100 from the center of the tubular portion 110 to the wall surface portion 130, at least 1/2 of the range from the center of the tubular portion 110 to the wall surface portion 130 is formed along a vertical plane V2 perpendicular to the tubular portion 110.
