    摘要: A spool module for a subsea well production tree and system is presented. The spool module is similar to traditional process modules, except that the spool module includes all its components and their conduits inside one body (or block). This module includes retrievable components used for production and annulus flow lines into one package. The spool module includes the production choke, annulus choke, and conduit bores integral in the block. The spool module includes all of these elements machined into one body having no additional conduits or piping outside of the body. The spool module may also be used in connection with a subsea tree during production of a well, or with several wells on a template or as part of a manifold.

    摘要: A safety valve for a hydrocarbon wellbore includes a valve housing; a tubular valve member having an axially extending tube wall; and an operating mechanism for operating the valve member. The housing has a passage extending from a lower opening to an upper opening. The tube wall has one or more radial inlet apertures therethrough. The lower end part of the tube wall is closed. The valve member is axially movable in the passage between a flow position and a blocking position. In blocking position, the valve member is retracted in the housing such that the inlet apertures lie inside the housing and fluid flow between the lower opening and upper opening is prevented by the closed lower end part of the valve member. In the flow position, the valve member projects below the housing such that the one or more radial inlet apertures lie outside the housing.

The diverter assembly (502) comprises a housing (504) having an internal passage (508) having first and second ports.     摘要: A choke assembly comprises a choke element having a fluid flow passage therethrough, the choke element comprising a cage having a plurality of apertures therethrough for the passage of fluid; and a plug moveable with respect to the cage, the plug having an end surface that in use defines a boundary of the fluid flow passage through the choke and being moveable to open or close each of the apertures through the cage, to thereby control the flow of fluid through the cage; wherein the apertures in the cage are disposed in a first and second portion of the cage, each of the first and second portions having a least one aperture therein, the first and second portions being separated by a land; whereby the plug may be positioned with its end surface disposed to intersect the land between the first and second portions, such that each aperture is fully open or fully closed to the flow of fluid. A method of controlling the flow of a fluid is also disclosed. The choke assembly and method are particularly suitable for the processing of fluid streams produced from a subterranean well, in particular an oil or gas well, in particular at a surface or subsea location.
