    摘要: A switching system for transmission of data comprises a switching matrix (34) partitioned into a plurality of selectable data transmission paths, these paths providing connections between each of a plurality of first ports of the matrix and selected ones of a plurality of second ports of the matrix, first path control means (30, 40) for controlling each data transmission path for completing each selected connection, and system control means (32, 42) responsive to a message requesting a connection between a first port and a selected second port to establish the requested connection, The switching system is characterised in that the system control means provides for the establishment of the requested connection beginning at a determined time based upon prior established connections to the selected second port, and the path control means (40) establishes the requested connection at the determined time so as to provide for transmission of data from the first port to the selected second port.

    摘要: A two-stage, rearrangeable multiconnection switching network for connecting N1 input channels (IC1-IC25) to n2 output channels (OC1-OC5). The network comprises a number of first stage switches (101-110) and a second stage switch (191), e.g., rectangular arrays. The second stage switch has n2 outlets each connected to one of the n2 output channels. A connection arrangement (140) connects each of the first stage switch inlets to an associated predetermined input channel such that for any group of n2 of the input channels, there is a group of n2 of the first stage switches each having one inlet connected to a different one of that group of n2 of the input channels. The approach is easily extendible to switching networks serving any larger number, N2, of output channels by adding second stage switches and connecting each additional second stage switch to each first stage switch. In larger networks, the first and second stage switches are themselves replaceable by two-stage networks in accordance with the invention.

Außerdem wird der am Takteingang TE zugeführte Takt über Trennverstärker (3 und 4) wieder einem Taktausgang TA zugeführt. Dadurch ist es möglich, ein Koppelfeld so aufzubauen, daß es an keiner Stelle erforderlich ist, zwei Eingänge parallel zu - schalten und an einen vorausgehenden Ausgang anzuschließen. Dies macht sich insbesondere bei der phasenrichtigen Verteilung eines schnellen Takts vorteilhaft bemerkbar.
