摘要: For the purpose of providing an imitation candle in accordance with the invention, an electric-light bulb (15) is fitted with a light-permeable and light-scattering lamp casing (1). Arranged on the inner surface (5) of the lamp casing are spacing elements (6,7,8) which hold the outer surface (14) of the light bulb (15) spaced from the inner surface (5) of the lamp casing (1). The lamp casing (1) is open at both ends, and air is conducted along the inner surface of the lamp casing, to cool the same.

摘要: A blade-profile blank for a propeller comprises a first elongate, non-twisted part (1) of streamlined cross-section and of constant cross-sectional area and constant shape from one end of said part to its other, and a second, planar part (2) which connects with one longitudinally extending edge of the first part and which is of constant thickness and breadth. The second part (2) has a surface (5) which merges at least substantially tangentially with one, convex single-curve surface (3) of the first part, and a surface (6) which merges smoothly with the other surface (4) of the first part (1).

摘要: The present invention relates to an arrangement for detachably securing together the side-pieces (1) and the shelves (2) of a shelving structure, made of wood or a comparable material. The arrangement comprises hook-like fasteners, each of which comprises an insert peg (5), which is arranged to be inserted into an insert hole (3) formed in a side-piece (1), and a binding peg (7) which extends at right angles to the insert peg (5) and which is intended to be removeably inserted into a binding hole (11) formed in the shelf (2), to permit the shelves to be readily moved from one level to another in the shelving structure.
There has long been sought a technically and economically advantageous solution to the problem of producing a shelving structure or cabinet structure which can be quickly assembled in a simple fashion while using the simplest of components, preferably solely smooth, sheet-like components having no outwardly projecting parts.
The present invention affords such a solution, in that the insert peg (5) is provided with a plate-like projection (9), or a plurality of axially spaced plate-like projections, located in a plane substantially at right angles to the insert peg (5). The insert hole (3) is of non-round cross-section, and the arrangement of the projection or projections (9) is such that when an insert peg is inserted into a non-round insert hole (3) and rotated through about 90° in the opening, the projections penetrate the wall of the insert hole, to prevent withdrawal of the insert peg (5) therefrom.

摘要: A base assembly (41) for an open office partition panel. The base assembly is formed in sections, namely, end sections (97) and a center section (99). An end section is fastened to and supported on a leg (111). The center section, which fastens to and is supported on the end sections, may be omitted when electrical wiring is not installed in the panel base. Each section is formed of a pair of elongated, channel-shaped housings (101) which are fastened to each other back to back to form a housing section having a center dividing wall and open sides. A snap-in divider (141) separates each channel-shaped housing of the panel base section into upper (143) and lower wire conduits (145).

摘要: A chair base and post assembly (11) for an office chair in which the base is formed of one piece of injection molded plastic. The base includes a central tubular hub (13) and integral base arms (15) which extend from the hub. A partially tapered socket (17) extends vertically through the hub. A steel post tube (19) is positioned in the socket and is supported to extend above the hub by a ring (31) welded to the outside of the post tube, which ring rests on the top of the hub. A steel sleeve (47) located in the socket near the top thereof and an internal surface (45) formed as an internal surface of the socket at the bottom thereof provide annular surfaces which engage the post tube to stabilize it vertically. A plastic guide bushing (23) fits inside the steel post tube (19) at its top and receives a pneumatic lift cylinder (21) to stabilize and guide it during its extensions and retractions.

摘要: A system for transferring reliably at least the value of valuable documents to a monetary institution, thereby to enable customers to obtain more advantageous interest conditions and enabling banknotes to be handled more quickly and more simply within the monetary institution. The system includes terminals (11, 12, ...16) provided with means for writing into cassettes (131, 141) information concerning the banknote-content of the cassettes. The system further comprises equipment (10) which is located in the monetary institution and provided with means (101) for recording information previously written into the cassettes. The cassettes used are of the kind which can be unlocked solely within the confines of the monetary institution. The equipment (10) in the monetary institution is provided with banknote outfeed means (103) for feeding banknotes from cassettes (131, 141) inserted in the equipment and for identifying the value of dispensed banknotes and comparing the result of this identification with the aid of registering means (101) which reads information from the cassettes (131, 141).
