Abstract: The invention relates to thermoplastic moulding compositions comprising A) from 39 to 99% by weight of at least one thermoplastic polymer, B) from 1 to 60% by weight of a flame retardant component comprising B1) a compound of the formula (I), and C) from 0 to 60% by weight of further additives, where each of the percentages by weight is based on the total weight of components A) to C) and these give a total of 100% by weight, and also to processes for the production of these moulding compositions, to the use of these moulding compositions for the production of mouldings, of fibres, of foams and of foils, and also to the resultant mouldings, fibres, foams and foils, and moreover to the use of the compound of the formula (I) as flame retardant for thermoplastic polymers.
