摘要： A full-automatic washing and drying machine has a drum (7) mounted in an outer tank (4) for rotation about a substantially horizontal axis, a reversible motor (15) operable at a fixed speed for driving the drum, and a power transmission device for transmitting the torque of the motor to the drum axle (13). The power transmission means include a reduction device (16). The motor and the reduction device are controlled by a control device such that, during washing and drying operations, the direction of rotation of an output shaft of the motor is switched in short periods while the speed-changing device transmits the rotation of the output shaft of the motor to the drum axle at a reduced speed, whereas, during dehydration operation, the motor operates unidirectionally and the speed-changing device transmits the unidirectional rotation of the motor output shaft to the drum axle with a speed reduction in an initial stage of the dehydration operation and, thereafter, without speed reduction.

摘要： A speed variator for a laundry washing machine comprising a transmission belt (10) connected between a drive pulley (11) and a driven pulley (12) for rotating a washing drum (8) at different speeds, said drive pulley (11) cooperating with centrifugal weights (16) adapted to radially expand at the centrifuging speed of the motor (9) of the machine so as to vary the effective diameter of the drive pulley (11) and thus the transmission ratio. The speed variator includes a hydraulic piston (17) guided for reciprocating displacement in a cylinder (18) connected to the water supply circuit of the machine through a solenoid valve (19), said piston (17) being provided with a tension roller (25) biased by a compression spring (26) into engagement with said belt (10). In this manner, the drum (8) is capable of being rotated at an intermediate speed between the laundering and centrifuging speeds by maintaining said belt under varying tension, and of being rotated at the centrifuging speed by maintaining said belt (10) under minimum tension.

Herein, the control part (801) enables the driving part (30) to operate in a biaxial driving form so that the drum (22) accelerates to rotate to an attaching speed at which washings can be attached to an inner circumferential surface of the drum (22), and detects the load quantity of washings in the drum (22) according to a rotating load applied to the drum (22) and the rotating body (24) that rotates relative to the drum (22) when the drum (22) accelerates to rotate to the attaching speed (S11 and S12).

By moving a clutch body (610) of the clutch mechanism part (600) to a first position so as to engage an engaging flange part (613) at the first position with an engaged recess (114) that rotates along with rotation of the driving motor (100), the driving form is switched to the first-shaft driving form. A control part (701) executes first-shaft switching treatment, where the first-shaft switching treatment is treatment that enables the clutch mechanism part (600) to work to move the clutch body (610) to the first position and then enables the driving motor (100) to rotate to engage the unengaged engaging flange part (613) with the engaged recess (114).
