摘要: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for facilitating communication in a content centric network (CCN). During operation, the system receives (200) at a first node from an interest owner an interest in a piece of content. The interest indicates a structured name for the content. Furthermore, the name is unique and persistent with respect to the content, and where the name includes authentication information for the content. Next, the system determines (210) whether content available at the first node satisfies the interest. If so, the system sends (220) the content to the interest owner. Otherwise, the system marks (230) the interest as pending, and forwards (240) the interest to a second node in the network based on the interest. After receiving content from the second node in response to the forwarded interest, the system un-marks the interest as pending and sends the content to the interest owner.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for distributing a data segment of a data stream to a group of a plurality of users in a network, wherein a status message is sent by one user to another user of the group using a multicast and/or broadcast channel of the network. This status message comprises a piece of information about a data segment to be received of the sending user for receiving a further status message of the other user of the group by the user via the multicast and/or broadcast channel. This status message comprises a piece of information about a data segment to be received of the sending user for receiving the data segment by the user via a point-to-point transmission channel from a source node. The data segment is sent to the other user by means of the multicast and/or broadcast channel, and the data segment is received by the other user via the multicast and/or broadcast channel.
