More specifically, provided is a sustained release pheromone preparation comprising a membrane of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and a C 20-35 aliphatic hydrocarbon compound which is carried by the membrane, is permeable through the membrane, and has such a melting point that the aliphatic hydrocarbon compound is in a solid form at normal temperature, wherein the preparation targets an insect pest having the aliphatic hydrocarbon compound as a pheromone substance.

    摘要: Stabilized liquid agrochemical compositions are provided that comprise flowable, nonaqueous dispersion concentrates comprising a) a continuous non-aqueous liquid phase; b) at least one dispersed, solid phase comprising a dispersion of polymer particles wherein the outside surfaces of the particles comprise a colloidal solid material and wherein the particles have at least one chemical agent distributed therein. The colloidal solid is present in an amount effective to stabilize the polymer particles in an emulsion state during the process which is used to prepare the dispersed phase. When the chemical agents are agriculturally active ingredients, the compositions of the invention can be used directly or with dilution to combat pests or as plant growth regulators.

    摘要: The subject invention is based on unexpected more than additive effect of multiple applications of at least one cyclopropene on crop yield as compared to single applications. Provided are methods of increasing yield of a plant comprising contacting the plant with multiple applications of a cyclopropene. In one aspect, the method comprises (a) contacting the plant with a first composition comprising a cyclopropene; and (b) contacting the plant with a second composition comprising a cyclopropene; thereby increasing the yield of the plant in comparison to a plant not contacted with the first composition and/or the second composition.     摘要: This invention is based on surprising results that dry-coat particles using a melt process where the dispersed melted polymer core (for example a linear polyester diol containing dispersed HAIP) can bead up effectively in a surrounding hydrophobic powder. One good coating powder is identified as organoclay. Silica coating also works well when combined with clay coating. With the coating provided, this invention enables generation of a stable powder with, for example approximately 20%, HAIP loading using a simple grinding and sieving process. The formulations provided can release less than 25% 1-MCP over a period of 4 hours under stirring conditions.
