Abstract: A multilayer conductive film includes a layer 1 including a conductive material containing a polymer material 1 having an alicyclic structure and conductive particles 1 and a layer 2 including a material having durability against positive electrode potential. The multilayer conductive film has stability in an equilibrium potential environment in a negative electrode and stability in an equilibrium potential environment in a positive electrode, has low electric resistance per unit area in the thickness direction, and has excellent barrier properties for a solvent of an electrolytic solution. A battery including a current collector employing the multilayer conductive film can achieve both weight reduction and durability.

Abstract: This invention relates to a process for forming a PVC article having a weatherable coating by applying by in-line spray, roll-coat, brush-coat, gravure print, flexographic print, thermal transfer coat or inkjet a polymeric solution onto extruded PVC as it is being extruded. The invention also relates to rigid PVC articles coated by the process. A polyvinylidene fluoride coating can be applied to PVC to form an article having improved gloss, good weatherability, good color retention and stain resistance.

Abstract: Provided are silicone microparticles including 100 parts by mass of silicone elastomer spherical microparticles having a volume average particle diameter within a range from 0.1 to 100 µm, and 0.5 to 25 parts by mass of a polyorganosilsesquioxane that coats the surface of the silicone elastomer spherical microparticles, in which the silicone elastomer is capable of absorbing not less than 200 parts by mass of a polymethylsiloxane having a viscosity at 25°C of not more than 10 mm 2 /s per 100 parts by mass of the silicone elastomer. These silicone microparticles are capable of absorbing a large amount of the above types of polymethylsiloxanes, which represent low-viscosity silicones, and can therefore suppress the greasiness, stickiness, and oily film feeling of cosmetic materials containing this type of polymethylsiloxane. The silicone microparticles can be produced by hydrolyzing and condensing an organotrialkoxysilane in a water medium, in the presence of the above silicone elastomer spherical microparticles and an alkaline material, thereby coating the surface of the silicone elastomer spherical microparticles with a polyorganosilsesquioxane.
