    摘要： The inflatable miniboats introduced in my U.S. Patent No. 4,090,270 provided security in wind and water, protection from hypothermia, were easy to board and were light and compact when stowed. However, they were not well adapted for entry by persons desiring to board them without a wetting. The vessels disclosed herein have overcome this problem. They have structurally integrated decks (34) with dry-access openings (35) that provide additional buoyancy, a barrier to wave influx over the gunwales, an inherent self-righting capability, storm security, ride stability, and hypothermia protection. Some have integral leg articulation (161) and propulsion (183), and devices (129) for retarding descent to water from high elevations.

    摘要： La présente invention concerne une embarcation de sauvetage, à auto-gonflage, gréée pour une navigation à voile, autonome.
    Essentiellement, l'invention consiste en un canot à auto-gonflage grâce à de l'air comprimé retenu dans un réservoir métallique, dont les dimensions et la forme lui permettent de servir de quille de dérive.
    L'embouchure du dit réservoire se compose d'un corps cylindrique creux, à axe vertical, d'où peuvent être expulsés pneumatiquement quatre bras téléscopiques, horizontaux, ayant une fonction stabilisante, et un cinquième bras téléscopique, vertical, ayant la fonction de support pour la voile.
    Un petit tube flexible sert à mettre en communication le corps cylindrique susdit avec la chambre d'ait tubulaire de l'embarcation (voir dessin no 1).
