摘要： A method, system and computer program product for inhibiting detection of deactivated tags. The method, system and computer program product include receiving a signal that includes environment noise from at least one tag, extracting signal detection information that includes a signal detection energy value at a detection frequency from the received signal, extracting signal deactivation information that includes a signal deactivation energy value at a deactivation frequency from the received signal, and determining a failure to deactivate ratio that corresponds to the signal detection energy value divided by the signal deactivation energy value. Generation of an alarm event is inhibited upon the failure to deactivate ratio being less than a selectable threshold. A noise factor is measured to adjust a selectable threshold.

摘要： A method and system detects potential suspicious behavior in a monitored facility. The monitored facility includes at least one point of transaction terminal. Video content of an activity occurring at the monitored facility and transaction data relating to a transaction processed at the transaction terminal are collected. The video content is correlated with the transaction data to produce correlated data. A set of user-defined rules are applied to the correlated data. Responsive to identifying a match between the correlated data and at least one rule of the set of user-defined rules, the transaction is determined to be potentially suspicious.

摘要： An outdoor enclosure for a video surveillance system comprises: a housing having an outer wall with an opening; an observation bubble disposed over the opening, the housing being adapted for supporting a video surveillance camera; and, first and second fans mounted in the enclosure to establish an air flow pattern when the fans are operating which circulates substantially unidirectionally around the video surveillance camera when the camera is disposed in the bubble, the circulating air flow pattern being substantially free of dead zones inside the bubble and efficiently conducting thermal energy from within the enclosure to the outer wall and to the bubble for subsequent dissipation outside the enclosure. The enclosure can comprise a temperature responsive heater mounted in the circulating air flow pattern adjacent to the fans, downstream from the heater and upstream from the bubble. The fans are substantially transversely aligned within the circulating air flow pattern.
