    摘要: In a radar apparatus, a change in the characteristic of a receiving circuit part is corrected during a normal operation and during an initial adjustment at the shipment, and a change in the characteristic of the receiving circuit part due to a temperature variation caused by an environmental change during an operation or due to an aged deterioration is corrected at any time. In the radar apparatus having a plurality of receiving circuit systems associated with a plurality of receiving antennas, a received channel signal received via an antenna selected by a first switch is used to produce channel signals (ch1,ch2) of the same characteristic, by switching a second switch, which are inputted to the respective receiving circuit systems. The levels and phases of the channel signals as A/D converted are compared to detect a characteristic change. The detection results of the receiving circuit systems are used to correct the characteristics of the receiving circuit systems or those of the A/D converted output signals.

    摘要: In a vehicle control device having a so-called keyless entry system in which a door lock control unit controls a door lock actuator by receiving a signal representing an identification code and transmitted from a transmitter, an internal-combustion engine control unit computes fuel injection quantity and ignition timing from control data stored in a memory in response to detection results inputted from respective detectors, and thereby drives a fuel injection valve and an igniter. The door lock control unit detects whether a theft is attempted on the vehicle, based on the switching states of various switches, and supplies the result of the detection to a constant-voltage circuit in the internal-combustion engine control unit in the form of a code signal; when a theft is detected, power supply to respective circuits in the internal-combustion engine control unit is shut off. Furthermore, the internal-combustion engine control unit checks whether the identification code received by a receiver matches the identification code prestored in the memory, and if they do not coincide, inhibits the internal-combustion engine from starting. Since identification code data that cannot be created in a pseudo manner is inputted to the internal-combustion engine control unit, not a binary signal indicating whether to permit or not permit the starting of the internal-combustion engine, the vehicle can be reliably prevented from being burgled and driven away.

    摘要: An FM-CW radar device in which an FM modulated wave outputted from a modulated signal generator has a gradient (modulation gradient) of frequency variation with respect to the time axis. The radar device comprises means for controlling the modulated frequency width or modulation period of a modulation signal to vary the modulation gradient. Further comprised is means for detecting a signal component changing with a change of the modulation gradient to discriminate the signal from a target object from other signals. In the case of an FM-CW radar device in which the transmission, the reception, or the transmission and reception are carried out by a time-division ON-OFF control, there is further comprised means for detecting the signal which changes with a change, if made, of the frequency for the ON-OFF control, thereby to discriminate the signal the target object from other signals.
