    摘要: An operating mechanism is provided which can raise, lower and tilt slats of a venetian blind, particularly an outside blind mounted externally of a building, and which comprises: a support body for rotatably receiving a rotatable drive shaft; a releasable clutch mechanism having at least a first element mounted for rotation by the drive shaft and a second element releasably engaged with the first element for moving the slats between opposite first and second angular positions; means defining the first and second angular positions; arresting means on the support body adapted to cooperate with the second element for establishing the opposite first and second angular positions; a retractable stop engageable with the second element to arrest the second element in an intermediate position between the opposite first and second positions and a lost motion mechanism interposed between the drive shaft and the retractable stop for engaging the retractable stop with the second element only after a predetermined number of revolutions of the drive shaft.

    摘要: A vertical louvre blind in which a plurality of travellers (30) are mounted for movement along a headrail (10) each having a vertically extending vane depending therefrom, whereby the vanes hang downwardly therefrom and a conventional tilting mechanism on each traveller is provided for tilting all of the vanes simultaneously. The travellers have wheels (34) thereon moveable along tracks on the headrail. A controllable transmission cord (76) is connected to one of the travellers for moving it along the headrail and spacers (90,91) connect adjacent travellers to one another, whereby movement of the one traveller (60) in one direction will pull the next and subsequent traveller in one direction when they are spaced from adjacent travellers by the length of the spacer (90,91). The travellers bodies are of identical construction and each include a pair of arms (36,37) inclined towards one another and joined by a bridge (38) engaging in an undercut groove (20) in the headrail to prevent skewing.

A controllable transmission cord (76) is connected to one of the travellers for moving it along the headrail and spacers (90,91) connect adjacent travellers to one another, whereby movement of the one traveller (60) in one direction will pull the next and subsequent traveller in one direction when they are spaced from adjacent travellers by the length of the spacer (90,91). The travellers bodies are of identical construction and each include a pair of arms (36,37) inclined towards one another and joined by a bridge (38) engaging in an undercut groove (20) in the headrail to prevent skewing.

    摘要: A retractable screen or blind of the type which is guided at its edges and which includes a latch mechanism. In one construction this mechanism includes a and a first part 16 secured to the end bar of the screen and is provided with a locking element 32. The locking element engages against a ramp 38 part of a catch member on a fixed second part 18. The locking element 32 slides down the ramp and then moves to the space below a locking surface 42 holds the screen in the desired position. Further downward and rearward movement of the locking element 32 enables it to pass behind a stop 46 through a gap 54 therebelow and then into a return passage which allows the blind to retract. The upper part of the ramp 38 can be arranged to flex or move out of the way to allow passage of the locking element 32. An alternative structure mounts a locking element on the lateral guide and a catch member is provided on the end bar to cooperate therewith.
