摘要: The invention relates to a power plant comprising a float (3) arranged to float in a body of water. The float is attached to anchoring means (7) via at least one telescopically extendable leg (5). Flow of a hydraulic medium is generated when the leg is extended or retracted, which activates generation of electrical power in a generator. The power plant is provided with a delay device (13) which controls the flow of hydraulic fluid, such that power generation is evened out. The delay device (13) may control the generation of power such that it compensates for nip and flood tide. The invention further relates to such power plant where the float (3) comprises a cavity for storage of hydraulic fluid in the plant.

摘要: A wavefarm (10) comprises a multiplicity of wave energy converters, comprising linear generators (19, 20, 21) and (22) which are driven by floats immersed in the sea, (14). In normal wave conditions, all of the generators supply a land line (17) via a control unit (18). In the event of inclement conditions, one of more of the generators are switched to linear motors, and these are then powered by those generators remaining in the sea, to withdraw their floats into protective cavities (23). The process is repeated sequentially until all but the last one or few of the generators have withdrawn their floats. Finally, these last are withdrawn by connecting them to an alternate power source eg a battery, (24), again via the control unit (18).

摘要: A modular system for the electric energy production, exploiting the hydromechanical energy extractable from wave motion thanks to the implementation of means for pumping based on a stem-piston-cylinder system and driven by the wave motion acting on floating members. Under wave motion, air is compressed by a piston (7b) and discharged into a chamber (20) of tank (70). Water is compressed by another piston (7a) and discharged into a chamber (30) of the same tank (70). A valve (40) regulates discharge to a hydraulic turbine (50). The tank (70) with movable wall (18) and chambers (20, 30) ensures proper pressurizing of the water and constant delivery to the turbine (50).

摘要: A wave energy converter comprises a buoyant body (11) and an acceleration tube (14) dependent from and attached to the buoyant body (11) and having an upper end near the buoyant body and a lower end remote from the buoyant body. A section of the acceleration tube intermediate the upper and lower ends of the acceleration tube defines a working cylinder (16) and openings in the acceleration tube (14) above and below the working cylinder (16) allow substantially unobstructed water flow between the working cylinder and a body of water in which the acceleration tube is immersed. A working piston (17) is reciprocable in the working cylinder. An energy-absorbing device (18, 19, S) comprises paired resiliently extendable hose pumps (18, 19) operated by the working piston (17). One end of each hose pump within a pair is attached to the operating piston (17) on opposite sides thereof, and the other end is anchored to the unit which consists of the buoyant body (11) and the acceration tube (14).

摘要: A method for transformation of wave energy is implemented by means of a wave-energy transformation installation comprising a floating device (1) in whose vicinity are mounted vertical guides (7) minimally susceptible to oscillations, and an oscillation generator (2) with unbalanced weights (3) moving with an acceleration along a given trajectory. The interaction of the oscillation generator with the floating device (1) and with the guides (7) is provided in such a manner, that at each rising and lowering movement of the floating device (1) on the wave the unbalanced weights (3) turn more than once around their axle (4), whereas the rotation axle (4) of the unbalanced weights (3) moves more than once under the influence and in the direction of influence of the floating device (1), so that at each full rotation of the unbalanced weights (3) around the axle (4) at least one movement of the axle (4) is effected, and at each change between the rising and lowering movements of the floating device (1) the movement direction of the rotation axle (4) of the unbalanced weights (3) is reversed while maintaining the energy accumulated by the unbalanced weights. The energy transfer from the unbalanced weights (3) is effected during the rising and lowering movements of the floating device (1) on the wave. The invention may be used in the power industry for effective transformation of the wave-energy into electrical energy.
