Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for remotely configuring a Precision Time Protocol PTP service of an Optical Network Unit ONU. The method includes: after an ONU performs an initialization, the ONU creates a PTP management entity; the ONU receives a PTP management entity attribute sent by an OLT and set by the OLT; and the ONU parses the PTP management entity attribute sent by the OLT and sets a corresponding PTP service according to the PTP management entity attribute. The present invention further discloses an ONU, an OLT and a system corresponding to the method.
Abstract:
One or a plurality of sub-networks (SN1, SN2, SN3, SN4) are defined in the communications network, which each comprise a plurality of network nodes (N1, N2, N14) from the communications network, wherein one or a plurality of the sub-networks represent pre-determined sub-networks (SN1, SN2, SN3), in which respective pre-determined network nodes (N1, N3, N5) have both the function of a global slave node (GS) and the function of a local master node (LM), and the one or the other network nodes (N2, N4, N6, N8) of the respective pre-determined sub-networks (SN1, SN2, SN3) are local slave nodes (LS). The method is characterised in that, in addition to global synchronisation using the global master node (GM) and the global slave nodes (GS), local synchronisation is also performed in the pre-determined sub-networks (SN1, SN2, SN3) using the local master node (LM) and the local slave nodes (LS). It is thus achieved that, in the event of an error outside a pre-determined sub-network (SN1, SN2, SN3), the local synchronisation can be continued, whereas the global synchronisation is aborted. It is thus avoided that an erroneous synchronisation is propagated into corresponding sub-networks.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a device and method for implementing a transparent clock. The device comprises: a clock module, a data identification module and a data correction module, wherein the clock module is connected with the data identification module and the data correction module respectively, and used for providing clock information to the data identification module and the data correction module; the data identification module is used for receiving data and acquiring current time information from the clock module; and the data correction module is connected with the data identification module, and is used for accumulating a positive or negative value of the current time information with the time information included in the data according to an outputting direction of the data and outputting the accumulated time information together with the data. By adopting the present invention, the residence time information of the data in the switching node is acquired by a hardware device, and the time information included in the data is corrected according to the residence time information, so that the transparent clock of the data can be effectively implemented, and the acquired residence time information is of a high precision and is acquired stably.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and device for detecting the symmetry of an optical fiber. The method for detecting the symmetry of an optical fiber comprises: a boundary clock receiving, through a slave port, a first time stamp message carrying a first time stamp, and receiving, through a passive port, a second time stamp message carrying a second time stamp; the boundary clock determining the symmetry of an optical fiber at least according to the first time stamp and the second time stamp. The method and device for detecting the symmetry of an optical fiber provided by the present invention reduce the cost of detecting the symmetry of an optical fiber in the prior art, and improve the efficiency of detecting the symmetry of an optical fiber in the prior art.
