    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for implementing low power consumption for data switching device. The method includes: when identifying that a current state parameter of the device satisfies a preset dormancy configuration parameter, controlling an upper layer logic component in the device to enter a low power consumption state; and when detecting, by using a physical port, that an energy consumption state of a transmission medium is active, waking up the upper layer logic component in the device to enter a normal working state.
