摘要： Sewing method, comprising bonding sewing threads (52) to themselves or to one another, or bonding fabric layers (50, 51) together, by using an adhesive (57) having an elasticity which is measured by an elongation at break of at least 10-20 %, and preferably between 50 and 150 %. A chain-stitch is formed and locked, at the points of interlocking of successive loops of its single or double threads, with a bonding adhesive, whereby to form a pseudo lock-stitch. The bonding adhesive is chosen from among polymeric adhesives that can be formed by curing a precursor by means of U.V. light, e.g. acrylate-based photo-polymers. The bonding adhesive is applied by injecting a polymerizable precursor at the point where the adhesive bond is to be produced and then polymerizing the same.

摘要： A method of embroidery on a fabric and an embroidery tool (1) enable the production in a simple manner of decorative effect on knitted or other garments. The tool (1) has a tubular needle portion (2) with a handle (3) at one end and a closed curved point (4) at the other. The handle (3) has an entry aperture (8) for continuous work material such as yarn, which passes from the entry aperture (8) through a smooth duct (9) in the tool (1) to an exit aperture (7) formed on the convex surface (5) of the curved end adjacent the point (4). The method of embroidery using the tool (1) comprises the initial steps of passing the point (4), carrying a loop of yarn, through the fabric from the front to the rear and back again at a different location, the handle (3) remaining at the front, and the repeated steps of retaining the loop of yarn at the front while withdrawing the point (4) from the fabric, and then passing the point (4), carrying a fresh loop of yarn, through the previous loop, and then through the fabric as before.
